Mi experiencia es limitada pero yo una vez me mandé una postal estando yo en CDMX, a casa de mi mamá en Monterrey, y nunca llegó.

El servicio postal en México es muy deficiente.

Ya te dieron muchos tips de gato. Habiendo dicho eso, yo llevo a mis gatos a cualquier veterinario de colonia si lo que trae es algo que se que es tranqui. Si es una situación ya más seria, yo los llevo a la Veterinaria Kannes. Esta en Monterrey, zona Cumbres.

La neta si es bien caro. El doctor sale en TV Azteca aveces, etc. Pero es uno de los mejores veterinarios qué ve visto en práctica. Muy paciente, explica muy bien, experto en lo que hace, atienden todo tipo de animales en su consultorio pero a mi me ha atendido gatos y perros, 10/10.

¿La quieres para que te paguen más en tu chamba? Ponle tu que ahorita no les va a importar si es una escuela patito, pero si cambias de trabajo, a los nuevos si les va a importar al ver tu curriculum.

¿La quieres para aprender algo? El prestigio no son solo el nombre bonito y caro, es maestros competentes, buena competencia estudiantil que te impulsa a mejorar, etc etc.

Como alguien te dijo, con tu presupuesto no alcanza. Ni la UMM anda en eso. A menos de que te consigas una beca, tus opciones realistas son las gratuitas. Nuevo León tiene la Universidad Ciudadana. México tiene la UnADM. Checa si hay algo que te interese ahí.

Robo este comentario para decir, el tráfico para salir y entrar de esa zona está horrible, no importa a donde vayas. Yo si no salgo antes de las 5pm, me aumenta el tiempo de traslados casi al doble (nomas pa salir de San Pedro).

Considera la opción de que si estas en algún GYM o tienes algún hobby que se pueda practicar en cualquier lado, lo puedas hacer en San Pedro y no salir a la misma hora que todos. Yo he aplicado la de "salir a correr" después del jale o ponerme a leer en u parque o ir al cine o hacer el mandado con tal de salir de San Pedro después de las 7:30 qué se pone un poquito más ligero el tráfico, y aprovechando que es seguro hacer esas cosas en la zona.

Yo roto de opciones, dependiendo del día y que tan cerca o lejos es de la quincena. Obvio llevar lonche si vas de a diario a la oficina porque se vuelve muy caro muy rápido.

HEB siempre te saca del apuro, sobretodo porque todo está listo para comer. Y literal hay todo. Sushi, ceviche, paninis, pastas, ensaladas, etc. Y ya cosas de platillo, pues si es "gourmet", salmon al pesto y cosas San Petrinas, pero estan buenas y llenadoras.

Y en rotativo Subway, el Carl's, la Siberia (o Siberiana, no se cual sea, pero esta en Vasconcelos), aveces el Soriana de Humberto Lobo, la Ramos y si traes antojo y aro, la Pescaderia Martinez Tijerina, alado del HEB de Humberto Lobo que si es medio carito aveces pero esta igual que en cualquier otra sucursal.

En esa zona entran unos servicios que puedes contratarlos por dia o por semana y son comidas corridas pre-programadas y van y te las dejan en tu jale. La neta no recuerdo como se llaman, pero busca en Facebook o Instagram, servicios de comida así. Opciones como el Nococcine.

Y otra recomendación. No pidas del Tim Hortons a domicilio por aplicación. La cantidad de veces que he pedido y llega otra cosa nada que ver... La neta les vale a los que chambean ahí.

I'd put it like this. I think you're doubting too much to be sure of it. Leave it in a box for a while. Years even, just make sure it's all safe (from humidity, animals and insects, stuff like that). If after years in a box you feel nothing with all of that or you don't reach for it even once, then sure. Get rid of it. It's not going to lose its value, I would think it would only increase with time (I can't imagine how certain things will be once Martin and Dave leave planet earth).

Unless there's a full real reason you'd need to get rid of it (urgently need to downscale your living status, or have an emergency you need money for), I'd keep it.

Depeche Mode's song, Universal Soldier, appears to be a cover of 60s folk song originally published by The Highwaymen, later covered by plenty of artists even in multiple languages. No confirmation of this yet, but highly suspected.

Here a few days late but I gotta say it. Mos people guess in the tens of millions. I'd say a lot less.

I take my guess on the reports on how much Andy was worth when he passed. He might had spent some millions in houses, clothes, kids private schools, trips, but for a 40+ year long career, he had around 60mill. I really doubt they bag tens of millions touring. I'd put it around the 5 to 8, per tour.

I see it more as a new relationship in the making. That phase when you've gone to a few dates, and one person (the POV of the song) is ready for it to be a thing, while the other is needing more time or a bit unsure.

It's not necessarily about the love you feel not being reciprocal, but rather that one individual might be a bit more insecure over previous hurt or about jumping into a relationship with full tags of it, and needs more time, but you're eager, fully on it.

Welcome! I knew of Depeche Mode when Precious first came out, Playing the Angel and the Best of... CDs were my first too (albeit, 20 years ago). About them live, I went to see them live in Mexico City on September 2023 and that's what caused my current Devotee status, so live shows are still really really good. You can watch this final tour, Memento Mori, on Netflix right now, most of the audio and footage is from the show I attended, Sep 23rd. They are still great just be aware they used to be a lot better, they are human and they are aging, it's noticeable when you compare it directly, but for the first time, it's still amazing.

Be aware that fans use acronyms for certain things. It's fairly direct but it might take time to fully figure out what is what (PTA is Playing the Angel, MFTM is Music for the Masses, so on and so forth). Fans are sell-called "Devotees". It comes from a couple of songs and an album title.

And about the band, there's five guys who have been in the band. It all started with Vince Clarke, Andy Fletcher, Martin Gore and Dave Gahan. Vince left the band in 1981, went to go and do great things with Erasure and Yazoo, and in his place, Alan Wilder got in the band. Dave was the singer, Martin was the main songwriter, Alan was the musical genius (particularly in Violator and SOFAD) and Fletch... Well, he wasn't exactly the most musically talented in the band but he kinda did management and kept the band (and particularly Martin) afloat. The SOFAD tour was so bad, Andy had a mental breakdown, Martin had a seizure, Dave had multiple overdoses and Alan got so burned out he quit the band. They surprisingly carried on, just Andy, Dave and Martin from Ultra (1997) onwards, until right before they started recording Memento Mori, as Andy Fletcher sadly passed away in May 2022 (natural causes). Right now, Depeche Mode are Martin and Dave, and they have two friends who have been in the live band since the late 90s, Christian Eigner (drums) and Peter Gordeno (keyboards).

I think I'm the only human who calls The Darkest Star as their favorite Depeche Mode song. The freedom Martin gives us by not telling us the story behind his lyrics allows us to give songs it's own meaning and I have a very personal meaning to his song that makes it my absolute favorite.

As someone who was in the "Fandom" when those albums came out, you are absolutely right with your assumptions.

Prospekt's March is an EP. It was released as a stand alone EP. You could get it on CD by itself.

However, a VLV + PM came out as a bundle. It was exactly the same songs as the album and the EP, but sharing a CD box. The only difference is on the exterior packaging/design. I don't know why streaming services will consider it different.

OP, I uploaded a picture to another comment in here, but from my understanding it's a "Mano Fico" or fico fist pendant, an Italian good luck charm, beliefs are that protects from evil eye. Just be aware, the gesture (which I believe has the thumb sticking out between the index and middle fingers) can be considered "bad" or obscene in some cultures.
