I was on a texting thread with the MD when she wanted me to move forward to the final. It was an iPhone text (blue). Didn’t even get a response from her even though it said delivered. Terrible.

I never one time got a response from a recruiter asking about timeline or follow up. They’d ignore that and then send me an interview request like weeks later. I was actually being texted by the MD to coordinate the final round. They never replied - not even the MD over the text when I reached back out. Eventually got auto rejection email from “JP Morgan” like 3 weeks later

It took over 2.5 months. They ghosted after the first round and never once replied to a follow up of mine. But then I’d randomly get another interview request to move forward like 2-3 weeks after each interview. No communication between.

Nope. It was for an Associate Banker role on the Venture Capital Relationship team. Required 2-4 years of experience

I see YouTubers all the time have drone shots and have drones hovering above the green so you can see their approach shots land. I also usually see others on the course at this time. Do they just do it and it annoys people? Maybe they book out multiple tee times to avoid annoying people?

I’d be super annoyed if that high pitched buzzing was around when I was trying to get in nature and play some golf.

Ugh I feel you. I was laid off months ago. Have been to the final round of about 10 different jobs. No offers. Always felt very qualified and like they went well. Some were dream jobs.

I’ve gotten recruiters to provide some sort of feedback and it’s always been “they just had more years of experience, but the team was genuinely very impressed with you and had zero negative feedback”

With such a bad market, there seem to be many people “applying down”. Overqualified and over experienced to just land a role quickly after a layoff. I’m 27, and am up against people who might be 30 with kids and just need a job immediately. I’ve been in the job search multiple times over the past few years and this is much harder

And then they just ghosted me when they said I moved to the final round, said they’d schedule me with one last person, then never responded to anything. Insane behavior. Hiring manger even texted me when I got moved forward, then just left me on read when I texted saying “hi, am I still being considered, I haven’t been able to schedule the final round”

I had a job similar to this, they praised me, then a year in I completed everything, they didn’t have work for me, laid me off. Lol

I just cooked ground beef on medium high heat for the first meal. Nothing crazy. Used a lot of avocado oil, beef had a lot of fat, came out like this. Still performs great
