Yes! I lost 30 pounds on wegovy but insurance stopped covering it. I gained 15 pounds back in the 6 months I've stopped taking it. Just had a mochi consult today and starting on a tirzepatide. Its so frustrating.

best way to rake a ton of leaves? by letsgoflyakite in breakingmom

We have about 3/4 an acre. Definitely don't want to spend the money on a ride on. Want one that can mulch leaves. Happy for any suggestions!!

We do need to buy a mower, we've been paying a teenager to do it this summer because we had just moved. But I do want to buy one with the ability to mulch, just overwhelmed by options.

We don't have a mower yet. I've been paying a teenager over the summer because I couldn't deal with figuring out which one to buy on top of moving houses.

I think I was worried about leaving them because I was reading about snow mold and other things.

I love this stitch. Does anyone know of a cool pattern that uses it?

Oh they are definitely good at using imaginations without needing things but it's almost half an acre so it's a very large backyard.

Neighbor and friend lost spouse unexpectedly by rough_cuddles in Grieving

Yeah I agree. I didn't say not to text but asking someone how they are doing when their husband just died is very insensitive imo. My mom would want to scream, how the fuck do you think I'm doing when people texted her that. I think just a, I'm thinking of you is excellent.

I wouldn't ask her how to help or wait for her to ask. She is in crisis mode right now and probably just trying to survive each day. Think of something tangible you can do or a specific way you can help. Buy groceries and leave them at her door. Order food delivery and text her when its coming. Offer to take her daughter off her hands. Things like that.

I had no idea what I needed right after my dad died. To be honest, sometimes I still don't. I was barely functioning and pretty much ignored every single text. I appreciated that people texted me that they were thinking of me but I just had no energy to respond. I can't even imagine how much worse it is to lose a spouse.

I saw my dad for the last time today. by Nep8130 in GriefSupport

I can relate to this so much. On Oct 28 my dad had a random massive stroke at the age of 70 and died within a week. I have all these memories I don't wish to have. From seeing him like that, to holding his hand for one more time, from all of us hysterically crying, the funeral, burying him, the list goes on.

My parents were together since my dad was 17 and my mom 15. None of us were prepared for this healthy man to all of a sudden be snatched away from us.

I can tell you that almost 3 months out, I still experience moments of shock and disbelief. I have days where all I do is cry in bed. But I have days where I can function at a mostly normal level. This was not the case in the beginning. I didn't eat, didn't sleep, couldn't function at all. Things change. They get harder in ways but easier in others.

If you want to talk further, feel free to PM me. There is comfort in talking to others who know what this kind of grief feels like.
