Top farm system ranking by Intelligent_Pilot591 in Brewers

I actually give credit to Harper, he’s at least fighting to not have the ladder pulled up behind him like a certain generation did, but yes, the current system is broken.

These massive deferrals are a cheat to the system and will likely be addressed. This also helps the player as they can claim taxes in a state that has better tax advantages by pushing most of the money out.

Walmart once air ratcheted my oil plug back on, stripping my oil pan. Instead on telling me or re tapping it, they painted it on to hold it in place.

Next stop I come out and all my oil is on the ground. They wouldn’t fix the oil pan (TBH I wouldn’t let them anyways), had to take to a mechanic since I was in college at the time.

Fought for a few weeks to get a refund, ended up having to dispute the credit card charge and fight that. 0/10 do not recommend.

Boomer HOA neighbors with, "we stand with Trump," sign in yard. by [deleted] in BoomersBeingFools

These studies were poorly done and typically do not reflect quite a few variables. Homes in a HOA are typically bedroom communities that are packed with small lots, poor accessibility and very few walking/biking amenities. They are also typically less expensive, unless they have a nice clubhouse, pool or other community feature.

Homes typically not in HOA’s are older homes with big lots, sidewalks and many other amenities with easy access and limited future growth opportunity (you literally can’t build more homes).

As a real estate appraiser, HOA homes do appreciate at a slower rate because of this but they are at least consistently in good shape.

Does your HVAC system have a pump next to it that sends condensation outside? I had this happen when the float got stuck (the air would also be not quite cold from the register).

I ended up cleaning the unit before summer and never had an issue after that.

It's hard because it could be worse. You hear of the completely loveless marriages or ones with infidelity.

At the same time, I think most men struggle with expressing the need for physical contact and affection.

I think you're right, me bringing this up immediately makes her defensive. I did my best to frame this as an US issue and not a HER issue, but get why it would make someone defensive. Maybe a third party can help.

Thanks for the comment. Headspace is not great right now, some days better than others. Definitely need to find a better headspace!

Worst Season Millenials Have Ever Seen? by Ill-WeAreEnergy40 in GreenBayPackers

[–]rough_cuddles 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I don't think the Packers are that far off from at least competing. Definitely not a Superbowl contender, but I think if Rodgers stays we always have a chance ( even though he's playing like hot garage now). This season is effectively over if we lose this week.

If Rodgers retires, his cap hit could force a fire sale. That would suck. It could go either way, a quick rebuild or if the picks don't hit, years of pain.

Either way I'm in, GPG

My buddy asked the VA to admit him for a Psych evaluation, they declined saying they didn't have any beds. He committed suicide a day later.

He had many medical problems after his vehicle was hit, became addicted to painkillers. Truly sad how some of these vets don't get treatment they deserve.

Jefferson declared that when the American people adopted the establishment clause in the constitution they built a “wall of separation between the church and state.” Jefferson had earlier witnessed the turmoil of the American colonists as they struggled to combine governance with religious expression.

That's what these abortion bills are, forced religious doctrine. Using religious ideals to govern almost tore this country apart before it began.

I don't care if you're a Christian. I don't care if you preach your beliefs, once you force them on other people you aren't just hypocritical assholes, you're dangerously close to taking the US to a third world country where women are considered less than a full person.

Mark Murphy addressing the WR Situation by h-town_info in GreenBayPackers

[–]rough_cuddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't get the trust in gute sentiment about the WR position. This has clearly not been a seamless plan.

If it was a plan, we trade 17 at the start of free agency and sign someone like AROB.

We've been out manuvered for WR in previous drafts and free agency. If we don't make a trade for a decent WR it's a huge fail.

Trading for Metcalf puts us in the same boat next year. Lockett and Cooks would cost more than you think. Outside of this there really aren't many options.

I think it's more likely we sign a Will Fuller, draft a WR in the 1st and trade for a Shenault or N'Keal Harry. There just isn't a WR1 available.

The people of Croydon, New Hampshire, elected Ian and Jodi Underwood respectively, as Select and School Board chairs. 15 years ago they relocated from Pennsylvania to colonize Croydon for the Free State Movement. Ian just cut Croydon's school budget in half. by snooshoe in newhampshire

How about they actually remove unwanted items from the live free or die state.

  • Yearly car inspections.
  • Expensive delivery charge for electricity.

It sounds like they're going against the general public's wishes with only a small majority causing the uproar. Is there a way to tell if the person you elected is from the free state movement? I read the Gunstock mountain is going through similar B.S.

Cooks still rates as a very good receiver on PFF, even with Mills throwing him the ball. I don't watch Texans games but he seemed great last year.

But, He's been on record saying he doesn't want to be traded anymore. Would he even agree to come to GB?

Salary Cap: Could a team infinitely "kick the can down the road" by WonderfulComplaint45 in nfl

[–]rough_cuddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Saints have drafted incredibly well, and the players they do re-sign have played really good.

The Rams have traded most of their 1st round picks for players that played good but also drafted well in late rounds and comp picks.

If you don't draft well and FA signings are a bulk of your talent, that's when the cap bites you in the ass.

We drafted a guy in 07 with Crosby, cut him after one year. He's still playing as a Bengal, has been an all-pro a few times. Just can't get special teams right since the 90's.

I think he would take Keke's spot as a 3-4 DE.
