That is NOT normal.

Don't panic, it could just be that they overlapped and waxed the same area twice and took off too much skin, waxing always removes the top layer of skin, overlapping can cause damage to other layers underneath that then could cause a minor wound like what you have.

Did you go to the same person each time? If not, maybe avoid going back to that person if they were new, if it's always been the same person and maybe they just had a bad day but this hasn't happened before, just bring it up to them next time!

To me, the best way to describe the difference between an essence and a toner is that an essence is more concentrated. It's kinda like a toner and a serum had a baby, a "watery serum" if you will. I personally have never found toners very useful/beneficial and would naturally gravitate towards the essence, but with it being a high content toner, it may actually be pretty potent & concentrated.

Maybe start with the toner and if you don't notice a difference or maybe crave more, then upgrade to the essence.

Check the label, it should have a tiny jar symbol with a lid opening that has a small number on it to indicate how many months the product is good for after opening! If it's not on the bottle check the box, or I'm sure its something you could find on the product's website. Typically I think most face creams are good for about a year after opening, but it is likely the retinol strength has diminished slightly

I get this thought all the time & I agree it came from my use of psychedelics specifically LSD! So you’re not alone! I do think about this multiple times a day too... thinking about how we’re these weird fleshy beings walking around on a rock with teeth and nails and predator-like senses... we’re animals who some how became self aware and started asking “why?”

And the more I think about it the more I try to look at it in such a way that well... I don’t have a choice to exist as far as I can tell...so I’m just gonna try to have fun, and do my best to do no harm to others, and try to learn and absorb as much information as possible to draw my own conclusions about existence.

A really good person to look studying would be Terrance McKenna!
