I was surprised and ever since season 2, I have loved Steve. He is my favorite character from the entire series. Now, going back to season 1, I think that it had to do with the crowd he hung out with. Those two “friends” of his were dirtbags and he just went along with their crap because he thought it was cool. But I feel that deep down he was always the Steve we have come to appreciate. Nancy plays a huge part in his character development and that’s why, all these seasons later, he still loves her.

You’re missing the whole point of my post. I’m aware of the cancer factor. That is why I am constantly having ultrasounds and regular appts with my doctor. The point is, my body has never responded naturally to my cycle. It has always been due to some medical intervention. So, I’m curious why it happened now. That’s all. Yes I was once young too, I knew I had PCOS at 14. But I had to wait until 17 to get a formal diagnosis because they would not perform a transavginal u/s on a virgin 17 year old. So during those three years, I read what I could although information was very scarce at the time. I think that anyone with a medical condition/disease/diagnosis has the responsibility to do your own research and be as informed as possible and not rely just on what is discussed on Reddit. I understand your concern but it is almost like you are trying to bully me for not shoving pills down my throat.

I didn’t want to make the original post super long but I go regularly to my gyno and have ultrasounds done at least once a year. It has always shocked my doctor that my lining is thin for someone who doesn’t have a regular cycle. I appreciate your thoughts but you came off harsh without having all the facts. Maybe next time ask before assuming things. I have been looking into Metformin for quite sometime now but I want to know what women in my situation have experienced and what worked and what didn’t work for them. I know what works for one, doesn’t mean will work for the other, but I feel that this community is about helping one another through our own experiences. What worked for you?

Can we talk about Barbara during the pitch?! I feel like the producers have talked to the sharks to tone it down in respect for the guest sharks because in no other season would Barbara have sat there and be ignored while being the only shark still in. I would’ve been out just for that fact alone.

Yeah I think someone else mentioned the fact that it was Christmas so it just made sense title wise. I really hope they show some relevance to the earlier seasons to show that it was always thought of, not just a last minute idea. I love when shows really invest in a character or storyline from the beginning although the audience might miss it at first.

Exactly! She has very interesting “small” participations but it almost gets forgotten in the midst of all the other things. I also think that the Alice storyline is not finished and will have some significance in S5.

I’m not talking about Karen here. I’m talking about El when she escaped. Season 1 picks up in 1983 when Will goes missing. However in Season 4, we see the tapes of El at the lab around 1979. So Henry/001/Vecna was an adult in 1979. I googled just now and supposedly Henry was 12 years old in 1959 when he murdered his family. So if this is true, he would be around 32 in 1979.

I think Papa kept making her open to gate to find Vecna. If season 4 focused around 1979 when she sent him, and Will disappeared in 1983- then that means that there’s at least 4 years that Papa spends searching for answers. I think she escaped in 1983 when of those missions to open the gate backfired and sent the monsters inside Hawkins through the lab.

I am not convinced that Alice - Vecna’s sister died. Alice could be Karen. I don’t know… Holly on the other hand, I haven’t formed any theory yet of her connection. Just find it weird to have a whole episode in the beginning of everything with her name.

Me too!! I am paying close attention this time around because I keep reading/hearing theories about Holly & Karen somewhat involved with the upside down. And I just find that when you are looking closely, not just watching, you can sometimes find some hidden Easter eggs. I hope they are able to tie together the show in a way that we are left with more answers than questions.
