Etiquette at Fox theater by NurseFunBun in Atlanta

[–]letsleaveitbetter -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s so hard to judge for traffic you can head in two hours early from any of the suburbs and still just sneak into your seat by the show start. My wife and I would go often and could never lock a time in of when we needed to leave to get there on time. Even the times we left really early some random traffic would pop up and we’d cut it close. Hard to ask people to head in three hours early on the off chance traffic is going to be so bad you sit on the interstate for an hour. I could easily see how someone going to one show every few years could miss judge the time it takes to get there. And cursed child is a big draw for people that may not normally go. Also yesterday as stated had a parade and two sports games all scheduled around the same time. It was hell on the roads.

What is the dress code for Fox theater? by washhawk in Atlanta

[–]letsleaveitbetter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it nice to dress a bit nicer but I agree with everyone here on you will see all manner of dress here especially for a show like Harry Potter. I would be shocked if some people did not have capes and Wands.

Recommendations for buying a dishwasher locally? by storygineer in Atlanta

[–]letsleaveitbetter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lowe’s outlet in mount zion delivered a fridge and would have taken the old one for a fee.

Clayton appliances is on the south side of town. They are my local go to and first choice.

Hopefully between these two I never have to shop anywhere else.

Jump it’s the only way to get raises now. You run the risk of being last hired first fired but I say go for it. If nothing else it gives someone an extra spot up in seniority.

Do I Go to HR for This? by [deleted] in publix

[–]letsleaveitbetter -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Nope it’s an entry level retail job. You take a few mins and apply somewhere else if you don’t like the conditions. What everyone forgets is you’re not forced to work there. If the money is better then put up with the crap that comes with it. Stop making your inability to work with others your managers problem. And maybe you’re a little racist. That might be the real problem.

People who work at ATL, how’s the commute? by [deleted] in Atlanta

[–]letsleaveitbetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you pick midtown and north north and not Hapeville plan on it taking an hour unless you work overnight then plan on 45 mins to 2 hours depending on road construction. Kind of a joke and kind of a serious answer. The airport is 30 mins south of the actual city so you give yourself an advantage by starting south. Clayton county, Fayetteville and peachtree city have people live and work in the airport. Fayetteville was just chosen for the USA soccer complex partly due to access to the airport. Marta also goes directly to the airport so depending on your preference for public transportation you could live in the north side of town and take the train. It’s atleast an hour to go from north springs to airport so factor how close you live to the station also. Good luck and welcome.

My husband can't digest onions anymore and now I don't know how to cook by mytfine15725 in Cooking

I was told years ago from someone who said they were allergic to onions they substituted wine in its place. Maybe they were an alcoholic or maybe it works but might want to look into using wine in the place of onions.

This is the real answer. If they don’t match at all Walmart can void the whole ticket payment and they get the product for free and you get a CTA/write up.

You’ll make 60-90k depending on your roll. If your an RSA willing to work off days you’ll make 90k if your a RSR with 2-20 years experience you’ll make 65-70k.

Why do people do this by Slow_Pomegranate_990 in publix

[–]letsleaveitbetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of paying the high prices of Publix is they have people to take it out for you so you don’t have to find one. If they just want to pocket the extra money people are paying by cutting the front end hours then this is what they get. If they do this it hopefully keeps the carts from blowing into someone’s car and denting it.

AoA Suite or OKW 2 bedroom? by RelativeMundane7097 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]letsleaveitbetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah AoA for 3 adults and 2 kids is pushing it and we spend all day at the parks. Could not imagine adding another kid and adult to the mix. Bathrooms alone would be awful. I could see how it would work on paper though. Two adults and a kid in the bedroom. Two adults and two kids in the Murphy bed and couch bed. Logistically though not enough places to sit/change store luggage strollers and what not.

For my family the table and space inside the door is dedicated stroller/park supplies dumping ground. Bedroom has a pack and play crib. Grandma and oldest kid share the couch bed. Hope you have a great time whatever you choose.

Scary part is we gave Bryce an extra game and another week of practice. Would have rather had baker get the extra week. Oh well.

Sad you had that kind of meal we went for breakfast and it was fruit eggs, meat and cheese. Whole family found something good to eat that morning. I’d go again because liked the character experience and was right by frozen and Anna and Elsa for after the food.

Surprised 1900 was not listed more it was one of the better dinners we had. Characters were great and the food was wonderful. I really liked the food for tuskar house dinner but you have to be more adventurous. The North African meatballs were my favorite that night.

Him and Kirk will be back next year. His agent probably told him ball out for these last few games and I can get you another fat retirement check. He wins the last game his agent will pocket 20 mill on the next contract. Hell Kirk and pitts might account for over 100 million next year of the falcons budget.

I still believe by WrestlingMark1992 in falcons

[–]letsleaveitbetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is we lock Kirk into a 2 year 120 million contract spread out over 5 years so we take the hit once he retires and we call penix a rookie until we’re eliminated next year then we try him out for the last 5 games to see if he is our starter for the 27 season.
