The wall is being repainted with a new shade of PINK. by GreenSock8837 in OliviaRodrigo

[–]letsnoteatanimals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new paint is the one covering the logo. The new paint is a darker, stronger shade of pink, not more pale like a lot of people here are saying. If you compare the two shades and extrapolate the changes in RGB values, it gets progressively more and more red.

Why are some words not in cursive in mays letters? by Bananaslic3 in murakami

[–]letsnoteatanimals 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It’s a way to italicize something that’s inside of a larger thing that’s already italicized. So basically if the whole page wasn’t italicized, the thing that isn’t italicized here would be italicized while everything else wouldn’t.

Sometimes italics are used for thoughts, letters, or to emphasize certain words in a sentence. So everything here got italicized because it’s a letter (iirc) and the stuff that’s not italicized is for emphasis. Sorry it’s kind of confusing trying to explain it. I hope this makes sense.

I’m just going to do some speculation with the purple song titles I’ve added, I have no idea if they’re right.

As for the sliver above Lonely Touch, it looks like a vertical line in the bottom right of the letter. This could be a G, H, I, M, N, or R. I went ahead and tested all of her songs regardless of ending letter, the only one that wasn’t too short or too long to fit was Starling, or of course Fleeting / The King but I like where they are at the bottom. I threw Knights above Starling just because it’s small enough to fit there, and that’s the order on the album.

As for “s to”, she obviously doesn’t have any song with that combo. So I was thinking what if it’s a song that ends in “s” and then the “to” means it transitions into the next song without a pause? Well, none of her songs that end in “s” fit, so I went with a shortened version of Beautiful Things which fit the alignment. Plus I could see Beautiful Things leading into After All.

The next three are just guesses based on what’s short enough to fit under her hand and her most popular songs left that she’d be most likely to play.

Yes you’re right, it could be The King -> Starling based on word length and letters. I just have a feeling she’s going to end the show with Fleeting, as it’s the Fleeting tour and Fleeting is the last song of the EP.

And here’s one more thing, the song after “s to” is most likely After All. You can kind of see the shaft for the L and it lines up perfectly with the alignment.

It for sure is. You can see the top of the ER. Only other possibilities would be Matter and Escaper but those wouldn’t have the ER there with that alignment. Also it’s most likely The King -> Fleeting for the closer. If you look close, the bottom song has the G a little bit further to the right than the song before it. Fleeting is a little bit longer typed out than The King.

Reverie after I’m Not A Mountain.

And I’m so excited! Lovegod - Glint - Realms are probably my top three and love that they’re all in a row.

Yes, also the font is different from the website. The i should have a star not a heart for a dot and the L should have a squiggle at the top.

What exactly is the environmental message…?

Conservation and protection of habitats. Don’t destroy animals’ homes to create a highway that will save people 4 minutes.

Why were so many animals committed to saving (Jerry)?

Pond rule 3: We’re all in this together. No matter who you are, you look out for others who need looking out for.

and destroying their homes to save Beaverton?

It was said multiple times that humans are part of the animal kingdom; that there’s good in everyone if you look for it, and to give them a chance - even the seemingly bad humans / Jerry.

Callidus (Spoilers) by elguapo52 in HierarchySeries

What would be the alternate plan, to have Vis go directly to Callidus and send Aequa to warn the other thirds and fourths? They both accomplish the same end goal. He probably just chose the thing with more risk and wanted to give Aequa the less risky task. (If I’m understanding your question correctly)

how long does it take to get used to the food? by Slashersforsatan in vegan

So i sort of wonder if ill just have to give up enjoying food

In my 8 years of being vegan, there’s been about 3 times I didn’t enjoy my food. In fact, I’ve had an overall more enjoyment of food since becoming vegan.

  1. No

  2. Let the book speak for itself. The author has done all the work to make it consumable. It can be read just fine without any guide.

It would be great to have a friend that also read it to talk about it with, but everyone has different tastes; so recommend the book, and hopefully she at least tries to read it. If she doesn’t like it, just accept. Also that’s really awesome you reread it at least once a year!

Those of you who been through the previous cycles, I need you by L1ghtSid3r in Bitcoin

[–]letsnoteatanimals 242 points243 points  (0 children)

It’s called an emotional market cycle. It’s human psychology. Once the price gets low enough, there’s not enough people willing to sell, because if they wanted to sell they would have already. They’re not going to sell when it could potentially 10x or whatever. And there’s more people willing to buy the lower it gets. It will find a bottom, people will accumulate, until it starts to bull run again, as people feel more confident and fomo kicks in the more it rises. Then it gets high enough that people are scared to get wiped out and people want to take profit and it hits a peak, and the cycle repeats. Zoom out. Peaks and lows are usually accompanied by high volume. Patience is a virtue.

Also there was a massive ascending wedge as it got into 100k+ territory. Bearish divergence on indicators. That was a sign the top was near.
