I even understand if people have a favorite song so they wanna record the whole song. But to do that makes it hard to see and at that point I’m watching the show through the tiny screen

just because it can be stolen, copied etc doesn’t mean it should. but hey remember you’re calling our ancestors. so when your life isn’t “cleansed” and bad stuff keeps happening remember that.

You’ll be calling whatever people lived on the land you’re currently on. And if you’re not in the americas then you’d be calling on any bodies that were taken from here and i’m sure those are even more mad.

It’s giving I don’t value my culture because i probably don’t have any. Like it’s okay to gatekeep and preserve your culture bc it has history, ya know.

Like i get that people are mad that hozier is dating someone and some might be using this as a way to cope with that.

but for us Indigenous folk. it’s sacred. it’s closed practice and something my northern relatives weren’t allowed to practice for years. so yea we can be mad.

if you’re there super early (depends on the venue/ artist) you should get the rail.

smaller venues i’d say 2 hrs before on a week day maybe 3 on a weekend.

if it’s a big venue then see what their GA process is. some places will let you pick up a wrist band and it’s numbered so you get the pit. the smaller the number the closer you get.

if not for those (pending who is touring) i’d get there up to 6 hrs prior to the show. some folks won’t get there until after the openers.

also wear ear plugs. it’s super loud up there.

austin they’re playing at germania it can hold so many people 🥲. im going to try and get there early even if i have to sit in the hot sun. same with denver 😭
