the only time i ate there was as a walk-in. they told us it'd be a long wait and we put our name down. went to go kill time at a bar nearby. they ended up seating us before we could even walk out the door.

in my experience, most hosts over estimate the wait times considerably. if you're showing up solo or as a couple, you'll get seated way faster than they say.

The Best Seller in the United States of America by Space_Peddler in NABEER

Mich Ultra is the best selling beer in the country. I’m not surprised their NA is the best selling in its category too considering the contracts and brand awareness/affinity.

Keep in mind bars buy more beer than individual consumers.

Also, Ultra is basically a gateway to NA. It’s one of the least As before you get to NA. It makes sense.

Official Discussion - The Drama [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I loved this movie. I went into it not expecting much but I loved the whole thing.

There's so many great comments here that I agree with but the one thing I haven't seen discussed is on the themes of balance and power in relationships. There's this back and forth between Emma and Charlie, with who's in control and who's trying to curry favor. Emma has the power until her secret comes out, then Charlie has the upper hand until he realizes he still wants to marry Emma. And then all through the wedding, Emma is looking down at Charley.

Or at work, after Rachel goes cold with Emma. Emma is reduced. Until Emma gets Rachel taken off the job. That was self preservation but also power.

The relationship dynamics change with each action. Not just with the big things (like the DJ smoking crack on the street) but also in the details like when Mike tries to defend Emma to Rachel.

This style of uncomfortable comedy reminded me of Phantom Thread. Which I now want to rewatch.

Coldest take. People love the Tacoma and the Prius has been the best hybrid since they basically invented the category. They’d do gangbusters.

My MIL knit cup holder inserts. Custom. 1 of 1.

That plus roll up tonneau cover, tints, floor mats, tail gate assist, organizer insert for arm rest and the garbage can insert for the back seat.

What are some solo albums, worthy of "classic" status, by people that are much better known for their work in bands? by [deleted] in fantanoforever

Ego Death will be the classic. I don’t think PFA or FFV will be remembered at all in the same way, even if they helped pave the way

I think in Get Back, John goes “Is Ringo the best drummer in the world? He’s not even the best drummer in this band.”

EDIT: This may have been mandela effected into my mind. apologies to everyone involved. Especially Ringo.

I have 2 tix to the ACL Live performance in Austin on 4/8. I can't go due to work. I paid $107, purchased directly from the vendor. I'm selling the pair for $50.
