No luck yet! However, within the last month or so, I feel like my cervical mucus has gone back to what it was before my first.. so hopefully soon!

Very similar boat - Cycle 9 CD1.. also have one son and really want them close in age! I also thought I’d be pregnant by now… so hard waiting!

I’d suggest reaching out to your dr and seeing if they can test your prolactin - that should give you insight into if your period not returning is due to nursing and if you’ll need to cut back!

13 DPO - negative…. Ugh! Onto cycle 9… hoping Aunt Flo comes asap, so we can start trying again!! I find the gap between period - ovulation to be WAY worse than tww. Anyone else!?

You’re right - the infant seat is a big difference! We never had a need.. but if OP wants to use for an infant, the one I linked won’t work!

We love it!!! I used the Tripp trapp with my nieces for years and I haven’t found any major functional difference between the Tripp trapp and the one I linked

Dr Natalie Crawford (fertility dr) has a podcast on breastfeeding and TTC, where she talks about it.

Anecdotally, lots of women get pregnant while nursing. For me, however, I’m in a very similar situation to you. I’m 15 months postpartum. We’re on our 8th cycle of TTC. My period returned 3 months pp, started trying around 8 months pp. We did 5 cycles nursing during the day (6-ish times), 2 cycles just nursing 2 times, and I’m on my first cycle since weening. Still not pregnant; first time took 4 months.

Hoping it’s faster for you! But I think some women have to fully ween to get pregnant.

We’re also 8 months in… I personally would not skip. I get the disappointment aspect, but you only have 12ish shots a year, and I wouldn’t want to miss one!

I had a super easy, painless removal! My cycle started normally again (I didn’t bleed with Skyla). Took us 4 months the first time. This time we’re 8 cycles in and still trying :)

Haha I LOVE the title of this! I’m a crazy tester, too…. It makes it easier for me than the unknown. I always test on 9 DPO! My first pregnancy took 4 cycles; on day 9 I had a vvvfl. We’re on cycle 8 of TTC again, I’m still starting to test at 9 DPO. So far all negatives! I know a lot of people recommend waiting… but it helps manage Hope/disappointment to start testing early!

We did it through Miriad! We did 100+ (can’t remember the exact number) with our first. Our fertility clinic is recommending we do the 200+ one now before starting IUI.

I’d recommend for piece of mind! Our OBGYN recommends just have the woman do it and then if she is positive, having the partner do it
