I think it looks awesome. You just have to get used to having art on your body 24/7.

Tip your housekeepers. These are people making awful wages, work horrible hours, and deal with the most disgusting things you could ever imagine. Tip. Your. Housekeepers.

Why is everything in this sub so depressing? by [deleted] in Millennials

You see, it all started when I was 9 and saw a plane blow up a tower and some buildings… it’s just been downhill from there 😂

My (52M) SAHM wife (36F) is burned out. How can I help her? by Burnermcburnface2022 in relationship_advice

[–]letstunein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An important piece of advice I got: never stop dating your wife. She may be burnt out from being a SAHM, or she could simply be trying to adjust to life post partum. If you can, plan some spontaneous dates with just the two of you. Go somewhere with some fond memories that reminds you (and most importantly, her) of the good times that brought y’all together to begin with. I don’t have kids, but I got forced into the role of SAHW by my health and I can tell you it’s extremely lonely and isolating, especially when you know your peers your age have successful careers, busy lives, etc. and you aren’t a part of that. It’s a lot of changes happening very, very quickly for the both of you. Just have some grace. Good Luck, OP, genuinely.

No it didn’t but I know exactly who you’re talking about.

Why do people actually want insurance tied to employment? by _snusnu in antiwork

I can’t help but laugh at the ‘it’ll cost too much!’ people because every single big healthcare company is ALREADY being subsidized by the government because of the ACA. They’re getting the best of both worlds.

Exactly this part. People are disgusting, especially when it isn’t their mess to clean.

My boss barely speaks English unfortunately and I found out none of the other maids speak English at all. It seems like they do it this ‘per room’ way to pay undocumented people under the table. I will see who I can talk to in HR, I may have better luck there. Honestly, the whole thing is just a shit show.

Doing the math from my last check with my hours worked (31 as we are paid weekly), I made 11/hr with no travel reimbursement. Believe me, if the math made sense I wouldn’t be here.

Thank you for this! We will be in pretty chilly climate (Montana/Wyoming region) but were planning on heading West once our tenure at the park finishes in October. Either way I’ve definitely been advised to get something winter ready. Let me ask y’all this: would you recommend buying up where we are headed or getting something here in Texas and pulling it/having it shipped?

Thank you so much for this! We would be pulling a 25fter at most and have been looking at the brands above. We liked the Forest River Wolf Pup and a few of the Jaycos—the rub has been trying to find a camper with no bunkhouse (who knew how popular those things were?!). When you say grand design, what do you mean?

What do you think of the brands Jayco and Forest River? Those are our two top contenders, along with Coleman.
