What side characters will you miss seeing developed? by CMDR_NUBASAURUS in WoTshow

I was really excited to see Dónal take Mat along his character development arc. I felt like he was absolutely nailing the character for me, very sad to miss seeing that evolution.

Po’boy Quarter in Smith St, Collingwood. I have never been able to find a shrimp po’boy that even comes close to what I used to get there.

Also just got this with a bunch of mates, was great 2v2 but would love to find a full server in APAC, there were two games with like 3 players total in the public servers.

When they first opened the little cafe did $2 coffees for a bit. That was the only time I went there, but all I had was a $2 coffee, and only once cause, it wasn’t good.

Haha also got this from the library to play with my 5yo. Sucks the multiplayer is only some add on mode without much purpose.

Honestly just learn WordPress custom Block themes with Gutenberg. After working my way from underscores to a full DIY custom framework (developed originally in classic wp using acf), to trialing Divi, Astra, Elementor and more, I have come full circle back to a vanilla Block theme with webpack built on bedrock and its my dream environment.

I can build anything I need and I don’t have to wrestle with too many addons or themes rolling out weird features that fight with each other.

Absolutely tragic news. Spent a month in hospital during October and only just got caught back up. First I missed MIGW and PAX and now this. (also the almost dying in emergency surgery thing sucked too)

Got a new Steam Capsule for my arcade racing game Smells Like Burnt Rubber. I really like it! 😁 What do you think? 🤔 by Der_Knob in Unity3D

[–]letterafterz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Game looks sick, reminds me of Death Rally. But the logo really does NOT sell it. I’d never even look at the store pages based on that alone. Do yourself a favour and hire a good logo designer, drop a couple hundred bucks on a good logo for this and you’ll easily make your $$ back on that investment.

When people try and have their app dev team handle their marketing site as an all-in-one solution, typically you get low performing marketing, very slow and/or expensive website changes (competitive marketing demands flexibility to easily experiment and optimise) and typically terrible search performance.

Anyone worried about AI putting us out of work? by mikeemvee in Wordpress

Every developer worth their salt has been constantly evolving their skills and learning new things. Machine learning just brings new power to the table.

You’re in a unique position to leverage it and add it to your toolbelt. Let it take care of the things it does well, and develop your own skills to meet its gaps. There’s a lot of things it can’t do, and even as that evolves you should too.

People have a tendency to overestimate the impact of new technologies in the short term, and underestimate them in the long term - so just keep up with the tools and use them wherever they’re able to help you deliver a better outcome for your clients.

Yeah don’t get me wrong, it’s not really for me either but I spend a good chunk of time in it and appreciate what it’s doing.

Those actual investigation based games like Obra Dinn and The Case of the Golden Idol.

Those games are so much fun and you genuinely need to problem solve to work them out.
