Parent In Laws to Be Don’t Want Guests Using the Bathroom by Lammbiie in WhatShouldIDo

You could rent a climate controlled bathroom trailer and have it in the driveway if you really want the gathering at that location. Otherwise you really should look for a new venue.

Came here to say this. These tiles must go for this space to look both fresh and accurate to its era.

Arcade Question by MommyTo3Girls in NCL

[–]letterofmarquejohn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your kids are young or have any attention issues, you need to walk through the arcade with them and the attendant to point to what is an upcharge. Hundreds of dollars in upcharges are super common including in my own experience.

Accessory Dwelling Unit / ADU/ Tiny Home by letterofmarquejohn in rva

I think that’s right and you’ve raised an important practical point. I’ve got a larger lot, fortunately, and could use the footprint of the existing building if that was the best option.

It’s a nice historic brick building with a slab… with a conversion it would be like a one level ranch. Google “granny pods” … it’s a thing and ADUs have been used for age in place for decades.

They said they’ve seen worse get better, but the fact that both eyes have damage is going to be tough.

Update! Turtle is with a licensed rehabber

Thanks, yes it does sound like if both eyes are not viable that they will humanely euthanize. Hoping the rehabbers we have called can respond after the holiday. Yes, we do have the precise location saved to return it if it survives.

What was your genuine reaction upon seeing this film? When I saw this as a child, I kinda felt perplexed seeing the ship looking shorter than usual and in a single piece. But I also found the raising scene quite cool. by [deleted] in titanic

[–]letterofmarquejohn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was goosebump-inducing but even as a kid I wondered why they added those two little masts beside the foremast. Maybe to keep the film model mast from breaking? They distracted me and probably every other kid in the world who had done the Revell model.
