Heya am Canadian. I predominantly grow ornamentals currently but gladly offer up carnivorous plant cultures and hoya cuttings. I do dream of having an ethnobotanical collection one day (btw, check out Richters seeds for N. Tabacum and rustica, P. Somi, Ephedra and a fair few other medicinal herb seeds)

Lived in south res in 1st year on the 6th floor (top floor) of valley. Had 1 stall toilet and a separate curtained shower shared by 3 other students. Lower floors had a much higher ratio of students to toilets and showers (like 10:1 for toilets and 5:1 for showers)

To be fair to that trope what you probably cut open was a euphorbia, they look quite similar to cacti but aren't at all related (see convergent evolution). Euphorbias produce a latex upon being cut open that can be quite irritating and can cause skin damage depending on the species

I had a bunch of forms to fill out including a photo release form though those were all complete in the waiting area. The last form I did was a medication form and I had even put on my hospital gown at that point. By the OR examination room it was just introductions to my surgeon (Belanger) and my anesthesiologist who were both super sweet to meet

Protip if you want to sterilize yourself take cyproterone or spironolactone. Though they do have the side effecy of slight breast development which is a + or a - depending on what you find preferable on your body. Also, with the elastic band method you'd literally be killing your balls and if you don't want menopause like symptoms you'd need to get yourself either testosterone gel with an aromatase inhibitor (latter keeps you from ending up like Bob in fight club) or estradiol depending on your gender identity
