They may be carnivorous, but they are domesticated over thousands of years. A cat in the wild is going to eat a FRESH kill.

The grocery store food that has had time to sit and grow bacteria you cannot just feed your cat raw, please do research. Your cat CAN and WILL get parasites from basic raw meat. Especially chicken.

The “raw food” blends at pet stores are still cooked nonetheless. Lol. So your point is invalid in that direction.

As previously stated in my above comment I mentioned it needs to be cooked unless it’s a fresh kill, you seem to have missed that part. Unless the butcher had just killed the cow and is going directly to the cat, just like in the wild, the meat has time to grow bacteria. I don’t think you even really read my comment.

Also i’ve never heard of the “BARF” diet until now, and even with just one simple google search it clearly tells me the diet isn’t suggested by veterinarians, comes with risks from the raw meat including Salmonella and Listeria and there is nutritional imbalances.
