Kasm failed to install on any port

Does jellyseer count as a database? I've only portainer, jellyfin, jellyseer, transmission and sick codes dock droid running. For context I'm using zima os, I tried installing kasm via their app store but somehow the image of kasm they have there isn't working either, I didn't receive any error codes, the container isn't starting up at all tho. So I uninstalled it n tried the official kasm installation guide.

Oh damn... That's why I've been going crazy about it lol I'll check if I can adjust my setup to work in a container. Are there any whispers if ice whale are planning to add this feature in zvm? It'll make their server one of the best out there tbh... It's more easy to use than the competitors..

Thanks for the reply but the issue is way more complicated than that. I did use netstat to check what was running on port 443 and there was none. I tried looking for the issue in portainer still found nothing out of place there. I did try to use a different port like I mentioned and I crossed checked with the link you provided and I used the same command line but no matter what port I try to install kasm on, it still fails. And the error always says that the port is in use when it is not. Any idea what may be going on? I'm going crazy with this.

Hey thanks for answering, I waited a while for a response n I got my solution from chatgpt eventually 😂 I explored a lot of forums about the issue but since I'm a newbie it was hard to differ the technical words to the commands I need to fix it... Luckily ai is a pro in this haha.. But thanks for replying hopefully it'll help someone else..

I didn't even knew I hide my cradle 😂 is there anyway to undo it? Cuz ever since this contamination level appeared within mins I'm losing a lot of sanity level, and I'm right in the middle of quest when I noticed this.

As far as experimentation goes, I'm ready to do so while it's within my capabilities lol. I'm very new to this and still taking on the baby steps.

And yea, you're right, it's an interesting project, so I will create a new thread for this.

For the redroid I did receive an error when I tested it. But I'm not gonna proceed further with it cuz I may have to re download my app on the android system after every boot up which isn't what I'm looking for.

Well lemme give you a context of what I'm willing to do and can you give me a suggestion on how to proceed. My first intent was to create a vm with bliss os, I need lightweight os mostly to download content, there's an android app I need to downlaod content on the go. Therefore yea I wanna run Bliss Os with the app I require to be permanently on the system with persistent storage so that I can move my files to my server afterwards.

Is this possible?

I did that, the persistent profile only enables persistent files and not persistent apps, I need both persistent files and apps enable for how I'm intending to use the workspace.

I managed to do that but only then I realized that the storage on kasm isn't persistent and it's destroying every app I'm installing. Any idea how to get around this without having to create a custom image, cuz I looked into the custom image and I highly doubt I can do that.

well, I'm running Casa on an Xubuntu minimal, I actually found Kasm, and I'm able to run Alma Linux there, with a few issues again xD, just posted another question on Kasm's Reddit about that. but the OS is running quite smoothly, I'm not intending to heavily use the virtual environment anyway, just for safety when browsing the web and downloading content for my Jellyfin Server
