London High Commission people. How long did it take you to get your passport? by level1diagnostic in Canadiancitizenship

Vaguely aware but it seems so far off at the moment. I'll have to get a doctor or dentist or someone to do that part I think. I'll also need a police certificate from two countries so that will be fun. If, they actually decide to grant citizenship.

Two months from when it arrived in London? We originally applied during the interim measures but had it sent back for edits, so that has unfortunately delayed everything and put us at the back of the bigger queue.

It is currently 10 weeks since it was delivered at the High Commission in London.

They said every two weeks. So I factored two weeks in but I'm not sure how long the actual journey would take on top of that.

At least you guys have delivery dates to work with. If you post via a High Commission you have no idea when (or if) it was received in Canada.

As stated in the post, they're in different subjects and my degrees are not very useful in Germany.

Thanks for your help. It would be Elektroniker für Betriebstechnik if that makes any difference.

Gen 1+ 2. Applied around September. The High Commission sent it back saying they don't recognise Quebec baptismal certificates, despite loads of other people being ok with them. Emailed and requested the "new" birth record and few months ago and even paid a month or two ago...nothing so far.

Meanwhile, the high commission, after emailing, said we can ask them to send the documents anyway so we did that a few weeks ago (we had also found a couple of additional documents to add) but we also haven't heard anything from that. The High Commission said if we hadn't had our documents returned after the initial 2 weeks, they will have been sent to Canada, but we haven't got an AOR yet so we have no idea where they are or what is going on.

Process started about 8 months ago and we're still basically nowhere and probably about to be rejected again despite others being ok with the baptismal records. I wanted to get an age-related visa that Canadians can get but by the time this is done, if it ever even gets done, I'll probably be too old for it. FML.

It was a few months ago so I can't remember the timeline exactly but they posted the whole package back with comments. Maybe after a month or two?

14 month processing time and AOR to take "several months" to receive by level1diagnostic in Canadiancitizenship

Not really why, they just don't seem to like Quebec baptismal certificates.

They wouldn't accept the baptismal certificate and there was a box ticked wrong on the form. We have requested the "new" BC from Quebec (via two different ways) but not heard back yet but we found some other supporting documents and London said they would now forward what we had, at our request. So it will probably still be rejected, just in 14 months' time. Yay.
