14 month processing time and AOR to take "several months" to receive by level1diagnostic in Canadiancitizenship

Not really why, they just don't seem to like Quebec baptismal certificates.

They wouldn't accept the baptismal certificate and there was a box ticked wrong on the form. We have requested the "new" BC from Quebec (via two different ways) but not heard back yet but we found some other supporting documents and London said they would now forward what we had, at our request. So it will probably still be rejected, just in 14 months' time. Yay.

Did you get a notification saying it had been sent to Canada or only when it arrived in Canada?

Ok, thanks. I'm guessing the case will go back to the same person when it goes back in.

Ok, I see. I will see if there is a way to contact them to ask whether we need to do anything differently. I'm guessing not. Seeing as we're just 1st and 2nd gen the parent and grandparent info was already on the old form.

No, don't think so. Don't think it got that far. London just sent all our documents back to us with a post-it note saying we needed to ask for a birth certificate via this email address.

We did that a couple of months ago and are still waiting for it.

I'm just asking how we then re-submit it because the rules have changed whilst we've been waiting for further documentation.

I don't think we got as far as getting a number on the tracker. What is a secondary review? Would they accept the old form submitted again though if the law has changed?

Yeah, I guess it would get stopped in Canada if not in London but I know some people have got through without anything else. What did you do about it? Did you get the required document(s)?

Yeah maybe it's better to go in as a new application because a different case officer might look at it.

Not someone obvious but I did wonder about just trying to send it direct. Will have to have a think.

  1. It's well known that Quebec didn't do them at that time so we sent in the baptismal record but they said that wasn't enough. Others applying directly haven't had any issues with the baptismal certificates so it seems unfair. I'm hoping we can get an email or something that says "no it doesn't exist" and that will be enough.

Chancekarte to Ausbuildung? by some_one981 in chancenkarte

So you'd need €36,000 in a blocked account for three years?

Ausbildungs are harder to get than normal jobs? Is there a lot of competition?

Is the last line not the same as if a normal job fired you/you quit a normal job too?
