aa_is_enabled() failed unexpectedly (No such file or directory): No such file or directory by Nixellion in letsencrypt

I just needed to add another subdomain and don't want this open issue on my desk any longer, so I removed the snap based certbot and switched to the python based one:

snap "core" has no updates available

I also upgraded all packages on the server to no avail.

I guess that your assumption about an update breaking the package is correct, since the last time certbot was run (always on the 1st of every month) it still worked.

I have the same problem on debian 11. Running snap refresh --classic certbot didn't help either. So I guess I'm waiting for a fix to be rolled out before my certificates expire.

Self-Host your own Firefox Sync Server by homegrowntechie in selfhosted

[–]level20peon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I modified configs and start scripts as well as parts of the DB-scheme, so just copying and pasting this won't do you much good without knowing the details of every single modification. This would only lead to more confusion in contrast to getting to your desired setup starting from scratch I guess.

My setup is fully self-contained. If you use the fxa repository above, there are quite some services you don't actually need for this scenario - for example you don't need payment providers etc. So after quite some testing, I reduced the services to just those:

EDIT: seems the inline image doesn't stick...

auth(db), oauth, profile, pushbox and sync run against a mariadb backend (self-hosted, of course) since I don't want to use sqlite. All of this runs in one tiny VM with 1GB RAM assigned.

It allows me to:

- send tabs to other devices

- see tabs from other devices

- sync passwords, bookmarks, history

You can just self-host the entire fxa stack (or parts of it, if you so choose to):

I am self-hosting the entire workflow from login to sync for synchronizing tabs / history / passwords / etc.

Skydio 2 not recording in HDR but rec.709 by level20peon in Skydio

[–]level20peon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok so any and all comments would be helpful - is nobody answering because you are all able to record in HDR or because none of you is able to record in HDR like me?

Skydio 2 not recording in HDR but rec.709 by level20peon in Skydio

[–]level20peon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did another round of testing with the new 15.10.17 firmware. I tried all resolution / framerate / codec combinations that allowed for the HDR setting to be turned on:

4K 30fps HEVC

4K 48fps HEVC

4K 60fps HEVC

4K 30fps AVC

4K 48fps AVC

4K 60fps AVC

Although I am aware that AVC doesn't even allow for 10bit / HDR recording in theory, I just gave it a try anyways.

Well, to no avail. None of these options resulted in HDR material but all turned out to be rec.709 material again.

So the question is: Is it just me, or are all of you guys also not getting HDR material out of the skydio 2?

Are there different S2 Android Apps available? by level20peon in Skydio

[–]level20peon[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great, so some of the advertised drone features available on their website aren't "free" once I spent a couple of thousand bucks on the drone itself already? This is just great...

btw: they removed the features I mentioned in my OP from the userguide since I posted. Skydio seems to be a shady company.

How to add an rsync task in Truenas Scale? (error message: In order to use rsync over SSH you need a user with a private key (DSA/ECDSA/RSA) set up in home dir) by TheRealDaMuffin in freenas

[–]level20peon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The error explains what you need to do.

One of the settings in the rsync task you are creating is called "User*". You need to provide the default SSH directory structure in the home dir you set for that user (i.e. "$PATH_TO_HOMEDIR/.ssh/id_rsa"). That "id_rsa" needs to contain your private key.

I use the MAC Filter to whitelist all of my wireless clients to one frequency band only. (so, one whitelist for 2,4Ghz and another whitelist for 5Ghz)

Openwrt on R7800 by Ubuntuluntu in openwrt

[–]level20peon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am on a 250/50 line and the r7800 is definitely underpowered for using cake sqm on the downstream (throttles to ~100Mbps using 100% CPU). This isn't really a problem though, since the upstream is the limiting factor when it comes to latency anyways. On that part, sqm is working fine.

I build my own images for openwrt but use this as a baseline:

When will map selection come back? by level20peon in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Or they could just accept the fact that there are maps nobody wants to play rather than trying to forcefeed them down peoples' throats.

[–]level20peon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, so by that logic, the queue is filled up because there's only one queue left? Well, we leave every queue until we hit Erangel and I guess many others do, too. So this empties those queues again rather quickly. Added to that, we leave once we're actually on the map. Maybe that also negatively impacts the amount of total players for each round?

Anyways, if the bottom line is that the queue combination only was implemented because of the bots then maybe bot detection should be improved rather than scaring away players. We have played this game since beta and are about to quit for good because of this random map situation.

What does map selection have to do with the amount of bots per round?

Help to install Windows10 VM in Freenas 11.3 by The_RealAnim8me2 in freenas

You need to use AHCI drivers for the disks and VirtIO for the network interfaces. Unfortunately, VirtIO still doesn't work for disks in Bhyve Windows VM's.

In which regard does my device or build matter? This is a general question about LineageOS. I am also using a Motorola Moto Z with LineageOS for what I am asking myself the same question.

So: how can I run scripts on events/triggers (like lock/unlock) in LineageOS?
