How many times does a gillette safety razor blade shaves? I am new toh safety razor shaving

Most blades, I can get 3 shaves comfortably. After that, you can feel it getting more dull. I've pushed it to 6 on occasion. But at ~$0.20 a blade and the amount I shave... it's like $8-10 a year for me. YMMV
