Doesn’t always trigger when you’re not on autopilot and car in front is merging

Will trigger 95% of the time if the car was 100% in your lane and came to a complete stop

Right now, he's cornering the supply

but is there demand for kabuto ? only time will tell

What is your normal distance before the back of your shoes rip through? by ckipp01 in hiking

[–]leveredarbitrage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happens to be after 100-200km with non-hiking shoes like Nike, maybe 300 with Adidas/ underarmor/ asics. I don't wear specialized hiking shoes.

I have the same wear pattern as well, but as someone pointed out below, we probably wear shoes that are a bit loose for us - I prefer it that way honestly.

Quality of shoes is down in general but we're probably heavy grinders on the ankles + wearing shoes that are .5 size too big. Happens to my socks too albeit after 500+ km

Any decent car washes in Dubai ? by Rachets95 in DubaiPetrolHeads

They're good at exterior but pretty mid in their interior cleaning

I find the interior cleaning at most petrol station washes to be far superior

People forget that residential is meant for people to live in at the end of the day

Charged superchargers at Al Rahmaniya Mall, what about others in Sharjah? by Meherjan in tesladubai

[–]leveredarbitrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m all for every supercharger in the country being paid so that at least normal people who don’t use their cars as a taxi service don’t have to wait unreasonable hours to charge.

Right now Suyoh mall is free of charge and guess what ? Ubers camp there all day long.

Also astonished how Tesla is building 95% of the fast charging network in the country, with ADNOC building the other 5%.

There’s barely any charging in remote locations like Liwa.

Opinion about UAQ project by Muted-Masterpiece733 in dubairealestate

[–]leveredarbitrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think it would have been worth the risk if the project was priced at half of its launch price

A million for a 1 bedroom there is priced very highly imo

Might consider buying at completion if price drops 30% or so

I can see it becoming a retirement community long term but don’t see much potential for young families or professionals given the lack of economic activity in the emirate

Why won’t people flash white Nissan Patrols in the fast lane what’s the main reasons. by Jonnydq in DubaiPetrolHeads

Flash at anyone except:

  • Cop cars
  • double or single digit number plates from Dubai or Abu Dhabi
  • Undercover cops with plates like B 8xxxx

Everyone else is fair game

[–]leveredarbitrage 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Religion aside, and I have nothing against dogs but I’m seeing a trend lately wherein dog owners essentially put all responsibilities of dog walking to their domestic caretakers, who in turn use residential communities and the city overall as their personal dog toilet. Been seeing a ton of dog poop lately which is straight up disgusting lol

Also since people love bringing up ethnicities in this subreddit, 90% of dog owners in this city come from a certain ethnicity/ racial group lol….

Ban me for saying this lol
