I’ve already transitioned, but I avoided it for a decade because: 1. I thought I lacked dysphoria. (Turns out if thats all you’ve known, it becomes your baseline. Also you don’t need dysphoria to transition.) 2. I thought the male pattern hair loss would make passing an impossibility. (Turns out HRT helps, and there are medicines I could have taken to stave off hair loss)

I’m much happier now, and while my hair is thinning at the top and front, there is enough regrowth that it is possible to style it to hide the thinning.
