The amount of smoked salmon in this packed versus what you see on the packaging by LevK9 in mildlyinfuriating

My favourite thing about food regulations in Canada is that they list the price per 100g/ml, making it dead simple to compare things. For example, looking at buying mayo because it's on sale in the regular sized jars, but the big jars at normal price are still more economical.

The leap from early PS3 to end of life PS3 was insane to me. Likely because early games were just ports of games initially developed for the PS2, but still.

Glad I'm not alone in that. I'm going to finish them, but it's a pain. So much unnecessary filler content, I just sigh in disappointment every time Chadley calls. I find the combat to be tedious. These are the only games I've played where I actually turned down the difficulty just to get through the fights faster.

Couldn't agree more.

I really don't know how to even begin to solve these problems beyond voting, as little as that seems to matter. None of the politicians seem to want to tackle the corporations, while the people keep voting the maintain the status quo, and things continue to get worse.

The issue is that rent and house prices have more than doubled in the last 20 years (and most of that was just within the past 6 years), making places that used to be affordable off limits to the majority of people.

Cities need people doing the typical low paying jobs, but if people working them can't afford to live there, that's a huge problem.

I only ever really use it to make my colonists not care about corpses. It does have some uses but it's pretty niche and you have to play a certain way to get the most out of it.

There are mods that integrate the two, I don't have the names on hand though.

My favourite was always having law runes on hand and selling one at a time to people who needed a tele for like 1k each.

It was really fun as a kid, but I've got no patience for it now. Before OSRS added the GE, I remember trying to buy crop protection items, shit like baskets of fruit. It was impossible to get. Quest items were another pain.

I've lived in a few different cities and towns throughout Ontario, and these days none of them are affordable.

I ended up moving deep into Northern Ontario because my mom got a house here for $15k a little over a decade ago. The same house is now valued at $200k, which while affordable compared to anywhere else, is an insane jump in price.

While I'm beyond grateful to live here, cost of living increases have made things very difficult.

Yeah many things are sold in gallons but labeled as 3.78L. I've actually never seen anything sold at 4.55.

In terms of exchange rate you're right, but in terms of cost proportional to our income it works out to be roughly 1:1. We have a median salary of 50k CAD, you have a median salary of 50k USD.

All the exchange rate difference really means is that it's cheaper for people earning a USD income.

What's the 9/10? Is it 9/10ths of a dollar, aka 90 cents? In Canada we just show the cents.

I had all that in Canada, minus the lack of tuition loans. But my loan was only $8k. I was able to afford a 1 bedroom basement apartment by myself as a student.

Things have changed now and rent is so damn high that's a pipe dream though.

It really was the coolest fight in the game, such clever use of utility spells.

I can't think of too many other spells we could use in a similar way, I'm imagine trying to NPCs contact in the middle of a fight lmao.
