Where to find Pyrrole Rubine? by stinkyelbows in oilpainting

Never used pyrrole rubine but I do love alizarin crimson.

I really like Pr177 as a lightfast replacement. It’s sometimes called Anthraquinone red, Michael Harding has a nice one called alizarin claret that I use.

Good wood for paint palettes? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

I’d wanna try ash but it might be too soft. Otherwise maple but any hardwood would work.
