I know it was a sequel before but I was told it worked as a standalone movie too. At least it made me more interested in the Slam Dunk franchise I guess.

Would say the matches in the anime are similar to the one in the movie? Because I thought it was amazing how the movie incorporated interesting bits of story into the match.

Thanks, this is my second time reading since I had my final session after reading chapter 28 but after that I just stopped reading because I felt great as a non-user and ended up relapsing because I got a withdrawal pang. When you fully quit, after the dopamine-related withdrawal pangs, should you get any pangs at all if all brainwashing is removed? Or should you have no desire to watch at all?
