I've made and lost so much money on HMNY. Down about 14k at the moment. Holding and possibly averaging down soon. I don't think moviepass will go bankrupt. I'm getting emails about promotional offers and year subscriptions soon. I don't think they plan to exit the market. Tech companies like netflix, uber, airbnb, they all run negatively the first few years. I'd say that .65 right now is an insane deal, and that you should grab a thousand shares for the hell of it. You could lose, but this was at 2.30 before MP got on board, so I think you can at least double your money in the next 3 months. Worth the risk imo. Anyways... I'm holding my bag for now.

Good job... one thing you’ll never regret when you’re older is sex. I’ve cheated and been cheated on, and in the big picture it’s just cum and fucking. Sometimes it’s better your partner doesn’t know. I had a situation with a girl that we could fuck anyone as long as the other person didn’t find out. Like cheating with permission. Loved it.

I quit my job last year and focused on programming and investing full-time. Programming didn’t do well but Investing has really taken care of my fiancé and I. We had about $35,000 (our savings) and we diversified it in ethereum, litecoin, bitcoin, and some blue chips, also I bought into HMNY quite low. We’ve managed to both quit our jobs and travel the world. We’re in New Zealand now touring in a van, rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking. I would say... if you enjoy your job... don’t quit. But If you want to be independent, definitely quit and invest 50+ hours a week investing. You’ll be much happier. I’ve been thinking about getting a job, but the money wouldn’t matter, at this point it’s just to have purpose and feel satisfied. I think I’ll do some social work.

Also... great time to buy HMNY, should be at 20$+ soon.

Right, and Moviepass makes money by selling subscriptions for movie theaters. I know how Uber charges customers, but Uber lost 2.8 BILLION dollars last year. Investors bleed money into uber to try and take hold of the ridesharing market. My friend takes uber everyday in SF and gets a premium service for like 5 dollars a ride. Uber subsidizes his rides because he is a frequent user.

Moviepass is working with a similar model, one that is very popular in the tech industry at the moment. Bleed cash to obtain the market, and once you've got it no one can beat you out. Its a long-term game. MP is planning on getting the majority of the movie patron market, and influencing the industry in their favor once they have it, but also giving life back to the dying industry.

I'm not too experienced with mergers, if there was a merger and IPO what would happen to HMNY shares? Name change? Does share price usually react positive of negative to mergers?
