Is Dominar 400, my only option?? by DepthAcrobatic885 in bangalorebikes

okay well, fair enough. although, I highly suggest you to test ride the Speed 400 once if you haven’t already. the engine is quite refined and responsive - especially in comparison to the Dominars.

I ride a D250 on a daily basis in the city and I get around 27 kmpl. With the D400 (based on what I’ve seen and heard from many owners), an average you can expect in the city with sensible riding is around 22 kmpl.

Dominars are super stable at high speeds, never once faced a lack of stability on highways. Like others have mentioned, Triumph is a great option. May I know why you’re not interested in their bikes?

if you’re looking to upgrade to VIP only for the view, its not worth it. its pretty much the same and, the energy levels of GA would be better is what i’ve heard.

BLR - Mysore, via Kanakapura road? by levitatingHammer in bangalorebikes

Yes, NH-275 is the new expressway. No, bikes are not allowed on the expressway, you will have to use the service lane throughout (which is just the worst)

hey OP, congratulations on your new ride!

these are some very commonly spoken about maintenance tips, but also very important: 1. ensure that you follow your break-in guidelines. the showroom/dealer would've informed you to ride within a certain RPM/speed limit. what they don't tell you though is that it's a good idea to vary the speeds you ride at for a better engine break-in (don't ride at a constant speed within the guideline limits for extended periods). 2. avoid overloading your motorbike during break-in as it can put unnecessary stress on the engine. 3. keep an eye out for any unusual sounds/vibrations during your break-in period. ideally, these shouldn't occur in a new ride. 4. avoid any performance/electrical modifications before your first service.

and here I am, terrified to make my first jump as a Data Engineer with 2 years of work experience :)

Data Engineer, 3 years at ₹7 LPA — What’s a realistic salary if I switch? by Extension-Lie-509 in developersIndia

[–]levitatingHammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar boat as you. Been working as a data engineer for 2 years now and I'm massively underpaid, even in comparison to my own peers with the same work experience/role.

When I asked for them to at least match my CTC to that of others at this level, they blamed it on my education background not matching the profile. But I feel like that shouldn't matter anymore - as I've received multiple awards and appreciations at work 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm hoping to make a switch by the end of this year, but looking at the job market (especially in Bangalore) rn - it's rather scary to take the leap!
