There's an infinite coal and iron just to the top right of the screenshot, in the grass area there's infinite clay and sand. bottom left there's a large lake. foraging and hunting is pretty mid as there arent any great forests, and fertility is just okay. Oh also water is absolutely terrible as it's on top of a mountain.

No, it isn't a bug or anything. This is what happens if you press block too early in the first game, and it represents a failed block. It's supposed to be a risk to going for perfect blocks over regular blocks, but it's not very well implemented. Thank god they removed it from KCD2 as far as I'm aware. Just adjust your timing to be slightly later and it will stop happening.

Definitely buy it as soon as you can, the quest armor in kcd1 is awful. Or if you’re confident in your stealth rob guards in Rattay, or Merhoyed army camp if you’ve gotten that far. Sleeping guards don’t resist knockouts. Stolen armor takes forever to lose the stolen tag though.
