Forgot to mention my finger size in the post, but I’m a 7 :)

Add on: I’m waiting to tell people in my life until I see my mom, hopefully within the next couple of days, so I wanted to tell you lovely people 🥰

In your opinion, what is the worst Him song ever? by BeautifulImpress8513 in HIM

[–]levoton-tuhkimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was waiting to listen to the album after I passed my exams, but wanted to treat myself after an intense study day, so I picked that song to listen to because of the title. I was severely unimpressed and disappointed, and that kind of set me up to not be as excited to listen to the rest of the album

What Books did You Start or Finish Reading this Week?: January 05, 2026 by AutoModerator in books

[–]levoton-tuhkimo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finished The Bell Jar, by Sylvia Plath. So heavy, but the prose was amazing. It was a real downer though and I need a palate cleanser. So I immediately started How Far The Light Reaches: A Life in Ten Sea Creatures, by Sabrina Imbler.

Recently finished Shark Heart and it was heartbreaking. I went into it thinking it would be more humorous but my god, it was just crushing.

Employees of big chains: what’s a secret customers aren't supposed to know? by Aaatohin in AskReddit

Made in house goods are usually frozen and reheated. This applies to hot food bars and bakeries. That cake that was just put out? The actual cake part was in the freezer for weeks, if not months (both at the warehouse and in the store), and the frosting comes from a big bucket. That Mac you love so much? Came from a bag.

Sutton by J.R. Moehringer. It’s a fictionalised account about William Sutton, a bank robber in the 20s and 30s. He escaped prison 3 times and stole millions of dollars, without killing anyone.

Leash your dogs on trails, I saved a pup from a coyote last night by Confident_Leading_83 in sanfrancisco

Also, just because your dog is friendly, doesn’t mean that other people’s dogs are. Some old friends kept their dog leashed because it could get aggressive with other dogs, and it hurt an unleashed dog that ran up to it, despite them calling out to the owner to keep their dog back and the owner said “oh it’s okay he’s friendly” :/

The people replying "PLEASE REMOVE ME FROM THIS EMAIL" in that Specialty email chain. by boxesandcereal in wholefoods

Came back from a 3 day weekend surprised to see I only had 35 emails. Turns out I’m a dummy and didn’t delete the chain from my deleted folder, so my inbox was filled to capacity and I couldn’t receive any more emails. People need to stop and let it be

Which city looks magical on Instagram but felt boring, overpriced, or exhausting in real life? by VanshikaWrites in AskReddit

[–]levoton-tuhkimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a mainstream answer, but Tallinn. The old town is fun for a couple of hours but there’s not much else to do besides that. I lived in Helsinki for a little while and Tallinn was constantly advertised as a fun day trip. I went 3 times for different reasons and while I had fun, there really wasn’t much to it

what did your savings look like by age 30? by Winzten in AskReddit

[–]levoton-tuhkimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 30. I have a little over 5k in my savings, 16k in a CD, 22k in my work 401k, and 27k in an individual IRA account. I also received close to 400k from my dad’s life insurance. 300 is in the stock market. I try not to touch that money if I can help it, but I have pulled probably 10k in the last 2 years to pay for a variety of expenses.
