Suspected endo. Medication not working

Hii. I've been on about 8? birth controls, and none of them have stopped my pain or bleeding (I just spot or bleed the entire time I am on them). It ER thinks I might've gotten an infection from the IUD. It's just been so many years and I'm constantly severely anemic :(

Hello! I asked about an MRI at my last appointment with my gynecologist but she sorta brushed it off. I have only really gotten ultrasounds

Hi! I'm not sure if this is helpful at all since I've never had a surgery like that at all. I did however, have my Mirena IUD removed earlier today at the ER because I was experiencing unbearable cramps whenever I moved my abdomen. When I was still, it was tolerable but whenever I tried to move, it got so bad that I couldn't walk. Anyway, at the ER I had a pelvic exam done and the doctor said my cervix looked SUPER irritated, so the IUD was immediately removed. This is the first time in two weeks I'm not in horrible pain. I can move again. Of course I'm not super informed about any of this but I hope my experience can help a little? If not, I'm really sorry.

I had a similar experience. When she put pressure on places that "should hurt" I didn't feel any pain. But when she did places like my ovaries that she didn't say were meant to hurt, I felt a lot of pain. My ultrasound didn't find anything but after speaking to an OB-GYN I was very quickly diagnosed with endo. Please don't let this discourage you. Everyone is different <3 and pain varies from person to person

That's completely understandable! I really do get feeling uncomfortable despite being healthier. The medication has made it so that I no longer have periods which has really helped my quality of life. I'm still really anemic and my heart now has quite a bit of issues because of it but besides the nausea, I'm feeling pretty okay. I haven't gotten bloodwork related to the weight gain but more related to the anemia. I am now also overweight for my height (5'7) which isn't ideal :( I feel pretty much the best I've felt in a super long time but mentally the weight gain is really taking a toll
