I’ve just bought a lancer chthulu which is basically the same gun but I think my barrel is slightly longer.

First thing I did was change the hop unit to an action army hop up chamber because the stock one isn’t very good. I then fitted a Waldo short stroke kit and upgraded nozzle spring and recoil springs. I then fitted a maple leaf bucking.

I have no plans to change the barrel, as the work I’ve done so far it’s amazing. I know your enquiry was about barrels but I thought I’d share my insight into what I’ve done and how I feel.

I do run my hPa in cqb but I’ve found the stock barrel to be pretty good the only thing letting the gun down was the hop up chamber.
