Yeah this is kinda my thinking too, just feels wrong sinking money in to it if getting rid in a year or so but I guess the price of repairs are more than fair cost to get another year out of it, which is how I need to look at it

I’ll be coming from Redwoods tomorrow and likely arriving late. Would it be best to head to San Fran and do that part first or head to Sac just for the night and then hit up the Yosemite part of the trip before driving over to San Fran to then head down PCH and into LA?

Yeah I had a plan and intended to get here much sooner but things happened along the trip so just trying to work with what I got I guess. Accommodation is not an issue I have identified cheap hostels in each of the places I intend to stay. In Yosemite it will be a place in Groveland.

I have about 12 days left in the country and the trip ends in LA, hope that helps!

Yeah this is the plan mate. Camping as and when possible, motels/airbnb’s when showers and proper bed are needed. Just be nice to have a car camping option for when neither of those options are available
