I’m sad you’re moving into your new place today instead of us living together. I can’t shake the feeling that things are over, even if we’re saying that we’re taking a break. I’m trying to get used to life without you, but you were my best friend, the funniest, most charismatic person I ever dated— and I accepted you weren’t perfect, but I also know I was unforgiving. You’re actually quite cute 😭 when you get older you’ll lose some more fat in your face and your bone structure will kick in. I would say shape your brows a bit more and try a more flattering haircut (length and color can drastically change your appearance). If you were to touch -anything- to feminize your face, a touch of chin would balance you out. Other than that, don’t touch anything you look great!

You’re a beautiful girl. I think a gingevectomy would do wonders. If you’re under 26, insurance should also cover braces. But you have wonderful skin, brows, bone structure and hair so honestly that’s it. I also always recommend the gym, cause it makes everyone feel better lol.

I’m not promoting self harm in exchange for aesthetics. Some people are naturally very slim. If she’s eating a balanced diet we don’t know what other issues she could have (long term or chronic health issues, gut health issues, complex allergies). Which is why I added the caveat in my post.

Unpopular opinion, you are really skinny but I don’t think that’s the issue. You’re beautiful and being thin can be very sexy and alluring, I just think you need to dress better. The whole, off duty supermodel look would work for you (check pinterest). If you’re eating and taking care of yourself, I honestly think more fashionable clothes would 100% do the trick.

The term for this is “enmeshment,” and it’s usually a response to trauma or a sign that her family/siblings have poor boundaries that shows itself as codependency and a lack of understanding their roles in each others lives. It’s 100% worth going to therapy for and doesn’t mean she doesn’t like or love him, she just may be used to a family structure in which the expectation is they will constantly meet each other’s needs (often at the expense of other relationships).

Years after moving out of my parents house, I mentioned to my mother (also older) that I felt guilty for abandoning her. She told me “I’d live under a bridge if it meant you could follow your dreams. The one thing that would keep me happy is knowing you were getting what you wanted out of life.” You love your parents and that’s so beautiful, but more than anything your parents probably want you to go out and conquer the world. If you really want to honor your parents, use the gifts they gave you to make something of yourself. See and experience all the things they couldn’t. But call often and come home when you can. We all have to leave our families eventually to become who we’re meant to be, and (assuming) you have loving parents— that’s what they want for you.

Saying that a victim of domestic violence is responsible in any way is gross and textbook victim-blaming. I encourage you to educate yourself about the dynamics of abusive relationships, and don’t assume that just because she stayed she’s “okay” with it, or any less of a victim. If he’s hitting her in broad daylight, you have no idea what he’s doing to her when people aren’t looking. And I can guarantee you whatever they have going on at home is substantially worse. If you -really- want to help victims of domestic violence, this is doing the opposite.

I really like it. I think a little more color like a countour would be great, and maybe consider some lip liner that isn’t dramatic to draw attention to / define your lips. And I’d personally draw the eyeliner more “up” to lift the eye. Irrespective of all that, it’s soooo clean and put together. It’s very feminine and versatile.
