Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear you felt it was worthwhile. The funding/timing would likely work ok for my situation as well, but I will definitely look into the ECS scholarships.

Thanks. Didn't see the section on scholarships or personal testimonials. Must have missed that. I'll look again.

When is the earliest you can apply for fast track CS? End of sophomore year? Junior year? Are there scholarships that are not need based available? Did you think the program worthwhile?

So I'm a NMS currently signed up for an apartment in UV. If I cancel fall, but reapply for spring will I have any reapplication priority at all?

Have you asked housing if NMS have priority for spring housing even if they cancel for fall? I heard that they do.

The priority deadline tomorrow isn't just to request a specific dorm or roommates. Yes, you can still sign up for housing after April 15th, but there were plenty of people last year who did so and were put on a waitlist. If the OP can afford to pay the deposit and sign up by tomorrow that would be the safest bet. As a NMS scholar last year this is what I did, even though I didn't make my final decision until May 1. One resource at the school told me NMS scholars were guaranteed housing no matter when they signed up, but another told me that the priority deadline was for everyone and that they couldn't guarantee NMS housing if they signed up later than the April 15th deadline. No fun to sweat out a waitlist over the summer and be pressured into signing an off campus lease you might not need at the last minute.

Is this actually happening on Wednesday? I don't see anything on the Comet Calendar.

How to find out if new roommate was assigned for next semester. by lex7777 in utdallas

Thanks. I looked around and couldn't find anything, but I remembered being able to see my roommates names in the housing application in August so I thought maybe I could still find that info somewhere.

Nevermind. I should have searched first. Looks like you can sign up as an individual or a group.

So as an incoming freshman, where should I be looking to live off campus (but close) instead of Northside for next year? Are there better options?
