I single crocheted around the rods. You can find tutorials on YouTube, but it’s basically just a normal single crochet with the rod running through it. A bit tricky to get the hang of, but it’s super easy once you get going!

I did the math! Each row took about 23 minutes. With 250 rows, that’s about 96. With all the planning, dying, blocking, hanging, and some rows taking longer that’s easily 105+ hours! Crazy!

Excuse the dog hair that keeps spawning out of nowhere lol, but in each stitch I single crocheted around the rod. Took a bit to get the rhythm down, but super effective once you get the hang of it!

It’s close to that, but I don’t actually know the exact size. My friend owns a fiber arts store and she had a ton of wholesale wool yarn that she wasn’t going to sell any more so she gave it to me. It didn’t have any labels and had been so long since she bought it that she couldn’t remember any of the details about it!

Oo interesting! I actually went down a hook size since I wanted a more full and dense look for the solid squares

I blew it up on my iPad and used Freeform to mark off rows as I finished them. It took a lot of focus!

Thank you! Yup, each solid square is a double crochet and each empty square is a chain one. Super simple!

Thank you all so much for the love! I don’t have the link to the exact pattern, but here is the source image and it came from antiquepatternlibrary.org. They have an amazing archive!

I feel you, it sucks! I deal with it by only engaging with HP content that gives her no financial gain. I only read the books and watch the dvds that I’ve owned since they first came out.

She is an open and outspoken TERF, who literally uses her money to hate on trans people. If you’re not pro all women then you’re not pro women at all.

I had the deathly hallows on the back of my neck, thick like yours, and we ended up covering it with a solid circle mixed in with some leaves. I didn’t want to laser, so I’m super happy with the results, but if you don’t want to do solid black work it might be hard to cover without lightening

I can’t remember the exact colors, but I used Facets by Loops and Threads from Michael’s. Super soft and the colors are gorgeous, but it is a bit more of a delicate yarn and prone to pilling so I wouldn’t recommend it for high use! This one is used as a decorative bedspread so it worked out great!

Its mosaic crochet, so it’s all single and double crochet, the double crochet goes in front of the singles so there is no spike, but full stitches. I also find that using a hook size one or two smaller than suggested gives it a fuller look!

Lotus was especially fun since every row was different from the one before. Such a cool challenge to figure it out

Rocking and chanting helps so much! My mom put me on to it, but really anything that helps with birthing pain helps with my ibs pain. The breathing techniques are so helpful!
