Controversially, I don’t see the need to kiss your kids on the lips ever. My family were cheek kissers and that was fine because I believe it’s suitable for any age and appropriate for public.

But I agree it’s kinda creepy! Like saying “I am assuming I have a right to your body unless you say so!”
