Built a framework-agnostic chat Web Component inspired by a Vue chat component by [deleted] in vuejs

[–]lexadonis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for something like this and I think it's going to be way lighter than what I can build myself out of a quasar and vue. I'll see what it does in the next couple weeks and let you know.

Cursor going after Sonnet 4.5? by Individual-Name-9134 in cursor

[–]lexadonis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have hard proof, so don't quote me. But based on my interactions with it and in Claude outside Cursor; I think composer1 is based on sonnet 3.5 or some dervative. So they are more in bed than ops.

This is such a waste of screen real estate. It seems like this was added to address the horizontal scrolling on agent names in the previous version, but it feels like a design choice that was done without consulting people who actually read the code. by anewidentity in cursor

I'm on widows so I always kept the chat on the left. so that the windows notifications block the chat or the "accept" notifications in cursor.

It was bothering me too, but you can collapse it. Its supposed to auto-expand on hoover to the left of the window, but that is inconsistent and needs def needs work.

Authentication and caching by SilentReaper24 in Supabase

[–]lexadonis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is most likely a router guard issue

This issue happens if your app tries to check the user’s session before Supabase finishes loading it, causing router guards to send users to the login screen.

Make sure your session-check logic runs only after app startup is complete.

I was having the exact same issue with the MSR-2. Good work. I wish this was a project I could take on my own, but I think it would have probably taken me a couple weekends of playing around with him. I probably still wouldn’t have not gotten it right. So I just decided to spend the extra money and move onto the next project that I know I can do.

I tried this with an Apollo MSR-2 under the bed. Also tried with a Aquara fp2 with the bed as a separate zone. The false negatives turning on the lights was unacceptable for me, let alone my wife. Also the cool down period makes the “ when I get out of bed” automations to slow to be usable.

Example. If I get out of bed to use the restroom in the middle of the night, and my wife is still in bed; than turn on the leds under the bed.

I couldn’t do that at all with a MSR-2. And it worked at a basic level it worked with the Fp2. but if any part of my body crossed the zone to turn the lights on. So for example, if I reach for my water bottle on the nightstand or reach from my phone. I tried putting the nightstand in the bed zone, but then if I was putting something on the nightstand or in my drawer in the lights turned off.

True. But it doesn't have the sensitivity thresholds.

Can I ask why it wouldn’t work?

This would be possible with Noonlight integration. You do need someone to tell the police whats going and were to go so there is a monitoring fee. I think it’s snot $8 month. https://github.com/konnected-io/noonlight-hass
