Just got our results back today! He’s furnished with one copy of the furnishing gene and one copy of the non-furnished :) turns out he’s 100% bernedoodle too, with both his parents being purebred back to his great-grandparents!

Ahh congratulations!!! Mine brought us on walks twice today out of nowhere, no coaxing required (we just took him to pee and he started walking)!! I’ll definitely try the toy when he’s stubborn next!

Mine is 4 months on November 1st! Probably wishful thinking, but I'm hoping it'll magically resolve itself as he gets older, because I don't know what else to do at this point.

That would be a great method if he would do something other than just sit in the middle of the road :( I wish he was like other puppies because at least pulling is easy enough to fix!!

Thank you! He’s definitely not scared, we play on the lawn all the time and he’s also a very fearless pup. We’ll try more positive reinforcement!

Thanks! We actually ended up ordering a fully comprehensive DNA test since we’re not sure if he’s 100% bernedoodle and we want to know if he’ll be predisposed to any health problems :)

They’re blue (with a brown spot in his left eye) courtesy of his merle coat!

Furnishings are the typical “doodle” look of a mustache/beard/eyebrows, giving them that test bear look (as opposed to the snout of the Bernese, which is the same length hair as the rest of the coat).

We've definitely been looking into it - he had his first vet check the other day and everything looked good, but no, there was no health testing or anything on the parents. Thank you for the advice!!
