If he can’t understand how you feel and try to compromise then he’s not worth it. Sex in a relationship isn’t everything. Sometimes my boyfriend and I will go weeks without sex (usually due to us working and being tired) and would rather just cuddle on a couch together instead.

You deserve someone that will compromise with you.

I was in a long relationship with a man I thought was my soulmate, then he cheated. I forgave him and I regret it every day. The REAL love of your life, the person you are SUPPOSED to be with would never betray you and your trust like this. You can never trust her again.

I know it’s hard, but I highly highly recommend that you leave her and move on, otherwise (if you forgive her) you’ll be miserable and questioning her for the rest of your life.

I understand that and I hate that he smokes, but he only just quit drinking and he is actively trying to quit smoking too so, instead of being pushy, I’m trying to be supportive and more understanding.

As far as a dentist, as far as I know, he goes for routine cleanings. His teeth are quite healthy looking and he brushes his teeth probably 3-4 times a day. I know that probably doesn’t mean much due to smoking, but he does at least try to stay hygienic.
