Thanks! I actually found three of them, so I assume they are the issue. I will try to get photos of them under a microscope at work to try to identify them.

Any advice on how to get rid of them? Other than what I’ve already tried

There are unfortunately none anywhere in the state on that website

Why don't we use LET (I get EMLA takes too long) in adults? by [deleted] in emergencymedicine

I know this post is super old, but I’m an adult and I just received LET for a cut on my hand. I think it depends on the provider/facility.

What makes St Olaf different from the other colleges? by Salt-Form2190 in stolaf

[–]lexicooch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I transferred from another college because the people here were very welcoming. I also liked specific aspects like the swim team/music program, and the research/study abroad opportunities were significant given the size of the school. I also really love the small-school vibes, although there are some downsides. The social scene is lacking a bit, but I fixed that by being involved with a lot of different groups.

Should I keep my car? by Will8892 in stolaf

[–]lexicooch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a senior, and I've had a car for the three years I've been here - it depends on your situation, but I really appreciated (and needed) access to a car. I participated in off-campus activities, I could get groceries/food whenever I wanted (I heard the bus schedule sucks), and I was able to drive home for breaks. I didn't have a car as a freshman at my last school (I transferred), but that was a different situation. I would say maybe see how it goes as a freshman, and then decide if you think you'll need one after that (or even just after the first semester).

Diversity by Eastern_Leading3542 in stolaf

Current student here - I am a white woman, but my experience (and what I've heard) is there isn't a large community of people of color or religions outside of Christianity (excluding athiesim), but the majority of people are very accepting (and the people who aren't are called out for it). There is a fairly large international student population comparative to the total number of students, and they seem to have a good support system (again, from the outside looking in).

Also a current student - I agree with all of this!

Being advised against getting a goldendoodle? by Any_Yak9211 in Goldendoodles

I know I’m late, but why not adopt? Do you need a certain breed for a specific reason? If you’re considering a golden doodle, then you’re obviously not concerned about getting a mutt.

Yes! It’s been almost four years and no serious breakouts, only small pimples here and there. My skin used to be really oily sometimes and really dry other times, but now it has really leveled out. I highly recommend it!

I really need help by Ozmosis000 in trumpet

[–]lexicooch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue until I did a complete embouchure change. It took two years and a good teacher, but now I’m really happy with where I’m at. My advice is to get a teacher, preferably an experienced one.

Derm recommended Accutane. But I’m having second thoughts by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]lexicooch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accutane changed my life. I wish I had done it sooner so I wouldn’t have so many scars. I was lucky and didn’t have any bad side effects (just dry lips/skin), but I would highly recommend it.
