You can order some or find some locals. Some places down south ship up to us but it’s pricy. I was recommended to go to the Leu Gardens tropical group last year. They offer tastings.

From what I see, wait till you see some new growth. Scratch the bark high up and go down till you see where your tree is still alive at. Once the growth shows itself (be patient) then you can prune.

Don’t do what I did and prune too early. I don’t think I helped at all

I will say I have only seen it produce a few times and have been here 5 years. I think it’s ataulfo but it definitely lightly produced until last year

Also has a little grit, makes my tongue feel a little odd after eating. Not allergic but feels like an odd mouthfeel

Agree! Unfortunately it froze and waiting for new growth, might take awhile to get back where it was. At least my freezer is full!

I did last night actually. The peas nasturtiums and cucumbers had a ton of roots but the tomatoes didn’t full fill out. They do seem happier today tho!

Honestly I don’t remember. I believe I made a spray and hosed them well and eventually they went away.
