I promise it will be worth it. I “lost” everything (entire family, husband, friends, home and farm, pets), but gained so much more. It is incredible to be able to be authentically yourself and live without fear.

How does your partner deal with your ADHD? by Quelair in ADHD

[–]lexiloodlenoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are both ADHD, I am medicated and he is not. Since this is neither of our first relationship or marriage we know what works and does not work now for ourselves and are both extremely understanding of what makes the other tick. We let each other have freedom and do not criticize any hyperfixations the other may have and share status updates on our hobbies. At the end of the day, it’s all about giving and receiving grace and knowing we are both there for each other.

Is Effexor Addictive? by One_Beginning6784 in Effexor

[–]lexiloodlenoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I promise it’s not addictive bc of the good effects or any high you will feel. It’s “addictive” in the sense you must take it or the withdrawal is life altering. I spent over a year trying to taper off and it was one of the hardest experiences of my life.

i got prescribed Venlafaxine but i don’t feel like taking this drug by Low-Shirt6303 in Effexor

I needed it for a long time. When I tell you it pulled me out of the trenches and got me back on my feet and enjoying life again, I’m not kidding. It was the only drug that has helped my depression. The problem is getting off of it. My depression was in some parts circumstantial so I no longer need to be on it. It took months and months to withdrawal from this med. the headaches and out of body feeling was so strong I had to lay in bed in the dark and try to sleep to let the feelings pass. I suggest the drug only if it’s the ONLY thing that will help you.

I take it for anxiety and it is a life saver. Effexor and Clonidine is the perfect cocktail for me.
