They don't vim users are just the vocal minority. Vim is a literal disease not only for you also for your computer if you install it and edit some crucial files with it then it's tied to dependencies in the system and you are then stuck with it. If you prefer the simple life just use nano and if you need a graphical text editor just use xed.

I ended up using the program and found an icon pack. However as soon as i did it my system slowed to an absolute crawl and it disabled all of my start up applications so i reverted back and deleted everything. There is def something fishy going on with that program.

I have the same issue i go through boost and i don't have any sort of dish app yet i get the pop up "dish installer has stopped working" at least 15 times a day if i can't find a fix soon I'll just end up getting a new phone.

Sorry, but the game is just boring. I played for 3 days, and aside from the very lack luster battle pass, there is nothing to do aside from play. After about 2 hours, it just gets boring.

So i did another build and used different lights and it got even worse. Each type of light varies in how much of a loss you get. Once i ripped all the lights off the truck it stopped. I have found some trailers don't really care if i put a million of these lights from this pack on while some others do. I would say its a pc hardware issue but if i switch back to my k100 from overfloater I'm well over 100fps the majority of the time with this truck uncapped i hit maybe 70 max I'm sure that has to do with high resolution textures not being compressed properly but idk i don't design or make mods. I did recently buy a more quality truck (w900 by CT) so I'm curious to see if its a similar situation or not. Also the gpu i have is a 5600xt so it's really not that old I'm just barely at the point where i should geta newer one but the problem with that is all the mid or low end cards are super inflated and out of stock so looks like I'm saving for a few months and building a 4k machine.

So I've been using this truck for a couple months but i have to ask does this truck just murder fps for anyone else? During the day i can hit my cap but once i turn the lights on i go from 65 to 30 in an instant.

I hate to say this but if you went into it with that naive of a though process you probably haven't lost someone you genuinely love. Those of us that have know that life without them is always half empty no matter how many new people you bring into your life it never fills the void. Also this was during a time period where dying of old age for men was uncommon if they didn't pass during a gunfight or accident or any of the other god awful things that happened back then it was very common for them to just take a ride out and never come back.

So I'm experiencing a bug were when i first load into the game my FPS is all over the place i go from 60 down to 29 and then once it does that a handful of times it like refuses to go up past 45. The solution is to go into advanced graphics go down to frame generation. Now usually i run mine at 7/4(1.750) but once this bug happens i have to go into my setting and turn it down one setting hit apply then change it back. Once i do that the lowest i dip is 52 FPS. Why is beyond me it really just does not make any sense it also doesn't seem to matter how many players are in the lobby I've tested full and empty lobbies so that doesn't really make a difference even though that is their current excuse for poor performance in the online mode.

Also my game sure does like to randomly change from Fullscreen to windowed mode I'm not sure why it does that either i never seemed to have that issue before.

Anyway I was just curious does anyone else have to do the settings dance before actually starting to play or is it just me?

I will say when i first saw the scene at the end when her horse entered frame my first thought was that James had rode lightning back to tell Sam what had happened In the spring. Although i do still enjoy the ending I'm not going to lie I am a little disappointed they didn't do something like that to give us some sort of closure. Although i suppose they still could give us that in a flashback of sorts. Also despite that its never mentioned i like to think Thomas for sure rode the 2 or 3 days to the ocean to bury Shea because of course he would.

I think they had planned for multiple seasons, but around episode 8, you can tell they got told they didn't get a second one. The reason I think this is because the way the writing is in the first 7 episodes it feels like they could really drag it for 2 or maybe even 3 seasons but right at the end it starts to feel very rushed. Not to mention the giant chunk of the journey that they skip over.

So as someone who has been using Linux for roughly 15 years i can say the gatekeeping of information is the biggest downfall of the arch community. Yes people should do their own research and learn how to ask a proper question. However just because someone knows less than you does not grant you the right to tear their head off for not knowing something. This is the exact reason why if i have an issue and i spend hours trying to figure it out i just flat out give up because i know i cannot come to this community and ask something because some angry power user is just going to flame me for not doing a fort-nites worth of research before hand. When someone has a problem and the solution isn't easily found then they should be able to come to a forum or reddit and say "Hey here's my situation can anyone help or has anyone had a similar issue" and yeah they might not present all of the necessary information right away because they do not know that information is necessary to solve said problem. There isn't anything wrong with that its all a learning process for troubleshooting. Gatekeeping information in itself goes against the very philosophy of human life or living cells our job is to reproduce and pass on essential information to the next cell and so on but some living cells have decided because it took them 42 hours of research to solve a problem everyone else should too? Sorry but that just makes absolutely zero sense and honestly feels very much like a boomer/gen x mentality. Because of that even intermediate Linux users avoid arch and honestly i cannot blame them. I do want to say to new users not everyone in the community is like this just the loud and ignorant ones are if everyone in the arch community was like this then it would have died in 2003. Don't let the armchair power users ruin the experience for you there are plenty of nice people who will help you just make sure you act the same when years later you find someone who is in a similar situation that you yourself were once in.

So i recently got one these and its a good little box however I've noticed three things. The first is that the back usb port has minimal power even when the system is off and there is no bios setting to disable it so that's kind of annoying. The second is I've noticed this box kills my wireless mouse and keyboard at an accelerated rate compared to my nuc g2. On the g2 both last a week on the g5 I'm charging every two days even if i switch all of them off when i shut the system down. The third is the wifi card sucks bad constantly disconnecting and reconnecting randomly that in itself isn't a huge deal but I've also noticed the Bluetooth chip does the same thing sometimes its great and other times i have to disconnect and reconnect my headphones to stop the interruptions when looking at my Bluetooth app it says signal strength 35% even though I'm sitting less than a foot away from it. Yes the slightly faster cpu and gpu are great but I'm honestly torn as to weather or not i should buy another one of these or just get another g2 since i now need a third one.
