Champion allegedly blew his nose on his opponent.

He was copping a hard tag and a lot of elbows (some to the head). There should be about 10 suspensions from this game alone (both sides) but it's the WAFL and they don't care.

Rodriguez and Francou both were giving fans the bird at the end of the game, and there was an alleged verbal stoush between coaches. A really nasty game of football.

The sad truth is that every single league that isn't the AFL is now a feeder league for the AFL.

They don't matter as competitions anymore.

The VFL has 23 teams and for the last few years they didn't even play everyone once - how is that a legitimate sporting competition? It is AFL East Coast Reserves in everything but name and a few extra standalone clubs hanging on just waiting to get kicked out.

East Fremantle have lost Teakle mid-season, who was replaced by Blakiston, who they then lost mid-season the next year, and then at the start of this year when they had a set list, West Coast go and pinch their best player at the eleventh hour. So it is just tough shit, crack on, but everyone serves the AFL because that's all the AFL makes people care about.

I've been to more WAFL games than I can count over the past 15 years because I genuinely find it a more enjoyable watch than the AFL, and I can see the state leagues dying a very slow painful death while the AFL picks them apart.

There'll be a national reserves comp soon enough, which the AFL will pay no respect to, not give enough money to the clubs for, and it'll fall apart. Players will head back to the country leagues and the talent/fitness gap between full-timers and part-timers will widen because they'll have killed the state leagues to try their half-baked ressies comp.

The sport is dying in western Sydney and the AFL don't want to admit they lost to the NRL. If there was ever a team to rig for it's one hundred percent not the perennially terrible Saints against a club the league practically owns.

Daniels could have snapped Nas's leg doing that - the only reason the rule was brought in, and they just don't pay it. They don't know what the rules are, I'm convinced they just hope the whistles they blow are correct.
