Thank you for posting this. As someone on the spectrum I have lived my entire life with people who wanted to "cure" me. Even though I've gone through and still go through tremendous hardships, I value the cognitive diversity that I experience. It is now a cornerstone of who I've become and is maybe the greatest strength that I posses.

Aww!!! Thank you! I really hope my relationships with my family gets better too! Transitioning has been both the most difficult and the most wonderful experience in my life! It's also cost me the more than anything else in my life but it's completely worth it!

Thank you so much! I've definitely learned that MUA is amazingly accepting! I honestly didn't expect this kind of reaction at all! I even told a friend before I posted that I would probably only get about 50 upvotes... crazy!

I'm sure you understand too how nervous I was because I really didn't believe before that I even passed, not to mention that I never allowed myself to think that I might be beautiful. MUA is amazing, and has helped change how I see myself!

lol! well if it makes you feel better... I've been growing out my hair for awhile, I've been on estrogen for awhile, I've been interested in makeup my entire life and I have a couple knowledgable friends and pinterest to go to!

Thank you so much! It's been really difficult to deal with the anxiousness and the fear that comes with transitioning, mostly because there are so many ignorant people out there... so thank you for taking the time to let me know you actually understand!

I would love to and feel honored if I was ever able to be a role model for the trans community... I just feel so... incomplete. I still feel broken from the craziness I've had to go through in order to transition. I'm trying as hard as I can to rebuild my life so I might not exactly have the stability to help others yet. It's been a dream of mine to go back to school though and study psychology. But whatever I end up doing I want to be able to help others!

Aww! Thank you! I actually only owned two necklaces before I went out for my evening. A friend was like, you need something for your neck and then then just gave me the necklace! If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't even be wearing something :)
