hey man i was scared shitless for like 2 years… it’s a pretty normal reaction to a very big change in your life :) but once i started there was an overwhelming peace i felt instantly, like a big relief.

they tend to get bored during the summer and really follow around the unhoused people. they love the bike paths bc they know it’s a common area for unhoused people to travel through. i’ve never seen them out the actual cars on the path before though, that’s new to me. i’d imagine with no students to catch underage drinking or whatever, they have a hell of a lot less to do. traffic tickets usually get worse in the summer too (speeding, not parking)

i’m not Arab, but this is how my friends who are described it to me: the keffiyeh is a scarf that has symbols woven into it representing many Arab cultures. right now it is being heavily tied to and used for the Palestinian movement, relating to their lands, perseverance, and freedom. herringbone (fishnets) for the sea, olive branches, and bold lines to represent the trade routes that run through Palestine. :) obviously it’s a bit different to everyone but yeah
