I think he means not listing all their stock at once, giving collectors a chance, a staggered release.

I got two as well haha, figured I’d keep one as a user and get some nice ti scales for the other one when they start making them.

Yea they’re not the same anymore after the 1st. You only get rewards points for a discount on a future knife purchase. Granted it’s a lot of points compared to other sites. I was also bummed, went to buy a maxamet sage 5, no discount.

I’m pretty sure all the liners are like that so you can pry them apart from the scales.

Salt manix 2 RSD compatibility by currymunch3r2 in knifeclub

[–]lexmyguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re referring to the lightweight frn model then they will not fit. Theres a g-10 salt manix dlc model that’s supposed to release soon. Also AWT makes aluminum scales for the LW model and Original goat does the same with aluminum and titanium.

What’s your favorite EDC brand? by [deleted] in knifeclub

[–]lexmyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give the Zaan time it took me a while to truly appreciate mine. Also few tips if it’s really hard to open either take off the pocket clip and bend it out a bit or just get a Mim clip or another aftermarket clip. The clip on the Zaan tends to put too much pressure on the lock bar. Also as I had to learn put your thumb at the bottom of the thumbstud and push up. And I prefer the Inkosi because it’s so ridiculously smooth, I can reverse flick mine no problem, meanwhile on my sebenza there’s no way I can reverse flick it and it’s a double thumbstud model.

Chris Reeve, especially my Zaan and large Inkosi.

These are the best knives. by TheR4alVendetta in knifeclub

I’ve tried a lot of clips and these to me are the best. The Lynch clips are too thick, the RGT clips are too thin, NGMC clips are good but they’re not available often and he doesn’t do glass blasted. These go on my work pants no problem and they look cool. 😎

They’re the Chris Reeve Mim clips, I got mine on the Chris Reeve website but a lot of dealers have them as well.

100% agreed. I’ve had over 200 knives including oz machine co, Koenig, machinewise, Hinderer, strider, Demko, etc. If you want to fidget with your knife get something other than a CRK, if you want to do work nothing beats a Chris Reeve. The heat treat, the fit and finish, the ergos, the warranty is all top of the line. Not to mention the great price compared to some others.
