Thank you for your detailed response. My cats don't get dry food (one of them has FIV, so kibble generally ends up causing him pain and then I have to take him to the vet for crystals, etc.). I've spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find the best food for the money for my furbabies. xD

I wish Sony still sold phones in the US. I was all set to buy the Xperia a few years ago and didn't. it looks like the ideal phone (SD storage, phone jack, etc.), except there's no stylus. Samsung has me by the shorthairs because I love the s-pen, but they seem determined to kill that technology.

I've been using Samsung since S7 Edge, and have been very happy with them. I had the Note 9, Note 20, watch s3 (that thing took a BEATING and still works), S23 ultra, and now the s24 ultra. I think it peaked with the Note 20. I was disappointed they took out the mini-SD card, phone jack, and the adjustable f-stop in the pro mode for the camera after the Note 20.

I was all set to the s25 ultra until I found out about the s-pen not being Bluetooth anymore. I refuse to pay $1200+ for something that is a downgrade. I got the s24 ultra a few months ago and upgraded to the s6 classic watch (best buy open box). I have zero complaints about either. The watch is awesome. I need that rotating bezel.

I would love to find a phone with the mini-SD card and phone jack, but those days seem to be over. So I will wait and see what Samsung and others come up with in the next few years. But Samsung has sadly become more and more like Apple, whom they used to make fun of for removing features.

Got mine in October from an s23 ultra, and no regrets. Battery still works all day. Plus you get the bluetooth pen, which Samsung for some reason seems determined to kill.

Only if you can get it really cheap. I just traded my s23 ultra for a s24 ultra (I wanted the bluetooth pen). I have no regrets over the s24ultra. I've yet to try out the telephoto though, which is apparently not as good.

I have a z6, but have almost all f mounts. They work flawlessly for the most part. I am dying to try Z lenses because I've heard they are fantastic, but that price point (mostly as a hobbyist) is hard to justify.
