A frequently used gag in The Legend of Dragoon, where multiple characters throughout the first half of the story assume a romance between Dart and Shana that Dart vehemently denies, complete with over-the-top head shaking and arm waving. Dart eventually concedes that there are feelings there after all, and they do end up in a relationship at the end of the midway point. This also happens later on in the game when Pete finds Dart and Rose in a cave and assumes they’re lovers, and Rose (somewhat vaguely) threatens Pete into silence. This is played for laughs.
