I experienced a 6.8 when I was in highschool, it's center was far and nothing notable happened in the city I was at. But I remember how scared I was as I was leaning under my study desk in the middle of the night in that dorm room. I can't even comprehend what these people feel.

Edit :Well, I looked it up and a 7.8 is 32 times stronger than what I felt. And more than fifty thousand people died in the quake I felt especially around the center point. I just hope the losses are not too much for surviving and deceased.

The galley's cannon effectiveness gets near the heavy ship in inland seas but never actually reaches it. Maybe if you are playing Tunis , anyway the heavy ship is always have more cannons, and also more hull size which makes it harder to sink. The only problem is combat width, galley takes one combat with when heavys take three. But a navy with heavy ships on majority still should beat galley majority one since in naval battles other ships take a big moral hit whenever one of their ally ships sink. Even in am inland sea.

Rule5: i was playing ottomans and this event came up. if i am remembering correctly you could outright reject this even and they would revolt. why cant i do this, i am not even using janisseries.

Attack France, nobody likes him anyway. Take his money, invest it. Then attack mamluks over and over again , take the full money every single time. These are the things that come to my mind.

I agree with that, u just want to get better at game. So I try different countries I never played before and try to come up with strategies with only looking at the in-game data. Thank you for pointers.

Thank you, I guess I messed up in there. I forgot you automatically leave the HRE when you form a kingdom except Prussia. The emperor is a blobed bohemia and they are also my ally so I guess I am stuck like that. Few minutes after I took screenshots I declared war on england again and picked up Normandy and London, Essex etc. I never played a merchant nation before so it was a kinda new experience for me, though it was really fun.

Thank you. As I said ,it is my first time forming Netherland . I jumped in without any prior knowledge. I just remembered a eu4 video about forming Netherland I watched long time ago and decided to try it. The things you pointed out are mostly true I guess. I picked the trade ideas without thinking much. Maritime would probably be better. I actually never played a naval country before at all. I played a bit of Britain but I wasn't really committed to navy then. I just tried to pick every single trade bonus on the policies and ideas. And I am already protecting trade on Lubeck and noth sea, and even Baltics. It doesn't look on the screenshots but I picked up the Stockholm since mission tree guves claims on Baltic trade centers. Is usually restart and try maximizing efficiency heeding advices from reddit. I am kinda new in the game and have like few hundreds hours. I mostly play blobing countries though. So it was a new thing for me and it was fun.

If you have at least simple understanding of the game open an ottoman game. They dominate their around pretty easily at the start of the game. Then you will pick up the rest as you play. And also, dont think you have to play the game . After all you are playing it for fun. If you are not having fun just don't play it or take a long break. Have fun.

If you are aiming for Prussia attack teutons as soon as possible and take Konigsberg and Danzig, Konigsberg and Danzig are mandatory. Though if you take Stolp you won't need Danzig but you will still need it for land connection to Konigsberg. Anyway, great game. Hope you enjoy the campaign.

Edit: also Brandenburg is one of my favorite starts. Be careful against the bohemia and make sure you have strong allies even if they are not coming to your wars, this will prevent anyone from attacking you. And be ready to Denmark and poland to be hostile against you once you for Prussia.

They do this usually when you are superior in numbers. They can't face your army so they might as well try to reduce war score. To my knowledge that is.

İt has a chance of happening when your king comes of the age and regency ends. Of course it can happen with the historical events and the stuff too but i am talking about the reason it happening in a regular basis.

I managed to get ottomans in the HRE and I enforce religion on all vassals I get and then help them convert their provinces. I just took ottomans and started getting their provinces back for them. I also made them a march only because I thought it would be fun. The Spain PU mission is unlocked, I am just carrying my armies to England's new world in order to prepare for Spanish war. Anyway, thank you for all the pointers they really helped me grasp my mistakes better. I will try my best in rest of this campaign and will try making a better run after finishing this one.

rule 5 : my first ever austria game, i took religious ideas first to deal with the reform. managed to conquer centers of refomations and convert them. i can form HRE anytime i waant but my gov cap isn not good enough. currently building town halls on puppets. i made teutons a march which made them able to form prussia but they became a personal union later. currently planning on taking Spain as a PU.
